watzz the validity peroid for demand draft is it 3 0r 6 months. coz wen i confirmed my bank dey told according 2 new RBI guidelines it is valid for 3 months, but i m still doubting many say it dd is valid for 6 months.. my application reached nova scotia on 31st may 2013, noc 1112. dd is goin 2 expire on 8th of august if validity is 3 months, wat if my dd gets expired will cic reject my case or will i get an intimation for new dd.. admins yur take on dis..

DD validity is 3 months. You can chk with bank if DD is en cashed or not.
No idea what ll happen if it expires.

My spouse and I are in Saudi Arabia and need to get PCC from India. My spouse is from Chennai and I am from Mumbai.

1. I would like to know what is the procedure to get it done?
2. How long will it take?
3. Have we our submit our passport?

For All the members who are worried about that your DD will expire:

Please check the photocopy of your DD..on it ..there should be written like below:

Will expire in six month (in my case)

So verify your DD and have a peace of mind. ;D

Apply for PCC at the Indian embassy in Saudi Arabia, yes they will take passport, check with them how long will it take.
