Hello All...So maybe we will have an update from CIC tomorrow.

Good Morning ;D Lets hope it's not another morning without any update :D

I encourage spreadsheet applications to verify if everything is okay with their entry. Provide any missing details. Delivery Time is a must.

Nishtal.......My apologies, please repost in green, so that we can update your profile.

Good job just now Jigzzy, we have had quite a few updates in the past 15 hours, least hope the next wave of updates come from CIC :)

I wrote to the minister's office yesterday and received a confirmation saying someone will look at it in 10-30 working days.

Good effort Balkanda. you know what I suspect that by the time you will get reply from them the Cap list will already be out. lol.

Any idea whether the Cap for NOC 0211 would have reached or not?

My application is ready. ECA is on its way. Should be here in 2-3 days. Is it worth applying now ?

Nobody knows for sure so the best way is to just go for it and apply. you never know.
Good luck.

Jigzzy, Islandbabe... I hope so the same.

I have two rituals every morning when I get up. First to check the CAP website and second to check online banking for CC charge.
lol I guess I have too much free time.

my missing field in the spreadsheet , Destination Toronto ON.

I have sent an email to the minister/ministry inquiring about the cap count update. I request our enthusiastic forum members to kindly do the same. A few more emails requesting a status update would definitely sway their attention to address this issue .

Thanks.

haha.. CC Charge will take another week or two. They'll first update the CAP details.

Any one have a link to FSW 2011 spreadsheet ?

Updated Aditya,

While I anxiously await the cap update like all other forum members. I know not to trust in the figures it will show to be a real time reflection, as historically if has never ben a good measure of the true intake up to the day it was published. If I see Noc 2174 saying 250, I will not sigh with relief that we all made it or be sure that others still have a chance...because the truth could be that at some office at CIC there are still 500 2174 applications waiting to be assessed towards the cap count.

islandbabe , that would in all probability be the case. My intention for requesting the cap count update is not the actual number but rather it breaks down to 2 things.
1. If we do get some kind of update on cap count - we will have known from cc being charged or not charged that if the applications are accepted.
2. if the cc is not charged at least a status update on the figures ( doesn't matter what the number is ) is a positive progress towards the decision being made aware.

The number on the cap count is not going to influence us ( those who have sent it in the first 3-4 days) much but rather the update itself which matters. Realistically i do believe that the first week itself would see an upwards of 500 applications for noc 2174.

Guys..

It is not 300 quota, It is internal news that the total quota for each NOC would be 500 per occupation..

If CIC update that they have got 300 files doest mean they have accepted 300 file, they might have more than 300 but certainly not below 300!

keep hopes and send your file, till they dont update the wesite.

the reason for not updating the CIC status of application received is because they want more files upto 500 atleast! and this is true.
