damn i chose toronto....are the rejection rate higher for ppl who choose toronto?? im really worried...but this shudnt be a criteria for rejecting ppl....what they may do then is try all their best to find a flaw in that application to reject.....is it right???

Do you guys think, CIC will consider complete and eligible/complete 300 applications or just first 300 applications (complete/incomplete, eligible/ineligible) for each occupation?

Its complete and eligible 300..., but ya if they reach 5000 and ur NOC has reached just 50 then too...they will close... :

I like to think that by nature of the NOC 2174 itself (and 2174 too) - there would be unproportionally more applicants for that NOC than for some others, non-IT related occupations.

Of course, I like to think so because I'm applying for NOC 2174 and I'd like to get into first 300.

i'm going to apply for NOC1112. my work experience relating to this code, i.e. Investment Analyst, is only 2 years, while I do have 4+ years of other work experience falling in NOC skill level 0 category. how to evaluate my work experience? can I get 15 points or 11 points?

Regarding number of cap reached.

I think till date nor either of the cap has been filled completely.
I mean to say when any 1 or 2 cap will get filled then they will disclose the list of application received.

thank you for the advice. the only thing i'm not sure about is the point calculation regarding work experience. other criterias, like education, age etc. are pretty confirmed. everyone is saying NOC 1112 is really in dead demand, i'm afraid it will reach the cap if i wait for another 2 weeks...
