Thank you ever so much ESZB, I'll certainly give it a try! I have asked my attorney but he is being lazy and has told me to wait for AOR which takes about 1-5 months to be dispatched(provided my application gets accepted..fingers crossed) ??? I have also asked him to check if the DD has been encashed but he is not being of great help

Well dear MH_UK I think its about time you gave CIC a call for your UCI. Otherwise you cant do much beyond waiting for the PER. I am a 12 June applicant and got by card charged recently... and you are not far behind. I say just a week or so and you will get good news. This waiting game is tough but i believe patience will bear the good fruit. or should i say PERuit! Cheer up!

Also I have got a UCI number from an old visit visa application, I have tried it but it doesnot seem to work. Do you reckon it would be a new UCI number or CIC would manage to link my old account?thanks

Oh for that, try entering the UCI with a hyphen, I mean 1234-5678 format. that will probably do the trick.

Thanks for your help! I rang CIC and was confirmed that the UCI is exactly the same as for my visit visa app(I am not sure if the advisor was looking in to the right details or they link all apps in to 1 UCI). She couldnt really tell me if my DD was encashed but said it is still under process..so fingers crossed ??? Do you recieve the PER as an email from CIC?(what does PER stand for)

1st I sent on my in aug 2008 it come back in 2010 due t roule change
2nd in nov 2011 on my wife base but due to mis guide of agent I sent wrong draft so returnd and when I sent corrected cap filled
Now this time I again send and got PEeR
