Dear ASMB,

I am also confused with the visa office issue. I mentioned in my application visa office as London; but in PER it is written "Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing."
What about u?

Regards,
Hi Ibrahim,
I am an Indian living in the UAE, hence I had the option of choosing either New Delhi or London visa office. As I cannot stay away without my passport for a long period of time, NDVO was not suitable for me. Besides I did not know that NDVO will be so fast or else I might have considered. However, i choose LVO in my application and accordingly it will be sent to London Visa Office.

I understand the confusing ... The initial documents are sent to CIO in Nva Scotia (Canada).. they look at them and see if they have the points and all the documents... then they send the application to the different VO.. there is when the journey starts :'(

Well...your file will be sent to the visa office you selected while filing your application. CIO Nova scotia does not decide your visa office...you have to select it...and they send the file to that visa office.

piscespao,
Since the new application form needs validation, Im sure your lawyers must have put in a Visa office otherwise the form might not be able to complete validation. Well, hopefully it works out well for you!

is there any update for FSW2 MI3 applicants?

Dear avikashyap,
Any updates so far regarding your case and closing Buffalo VO?
I have same timeline and now getting worry since I haven`t gotten any letter from Buffalo VO yet, neither about receiving my App after transferring from CIO nor any further requests.
Do you consider contacting BVO any soon?
Best,

Friends,

some good news and some not-so-good news...

First the good news....My lawyer called me today and said that they have received communication from NDVO today issuing me MR/PCC/RPRF/PPR...

Now, the not-so-good-news....The letter from NDVO was dated 25th April 2012 (Yes , its APRIL, i verified the scanned copy from my lawyer a zillion times) and they sent the entire package by postal mail since I am in Canada. Not sure why it took soooooooo long for it to even get here..... The deadline to submit all the requested documents is 9th June 2012 (coming saturday)....My lawyer is going to contact NDVO requesting an extension to submit the documents since I will never be able to submit all the documents including medical results within 2 days...

Plan is to submit PCC as soon as possible, get DMP appointment asap so that I can get the medicals done and DMP can send it to NDVO as soon as possible and then hopefully by that time NDVO responds letting me know how much of an extension they can give me so that I can then plan to fly to India to submit passports...

Phew...My ecas had changed from A to B on 29th April i think...and they had already issued MR on 25th but somehow either the letter was shuffled between departments in NDVO or then postal mail from India took reallllly long. Wonder why they send MR by postal mail if its overseas....I guess all the folks who have got MR from NDVO have got it through email...

Friends, I hope you all get the PER/AOR/MR/DM that you all are waiting for soon as well....

Hopefully NDVO grants me an extension to be able to submit everything...

Cheers,

Seminole

Hi yosemite,

We're sailing on same boat, our applications has transferred to Ottawa office, they've given 60 days time period after that they will contact us, I'm really frustrated with this wait :(.

Please post any update regarding your case or anyone with the same timeline and VO.

THanks,
Nadeem

Hi

Is there anybody here who will just apply this June 2012?

My husband has an AEO issued 2009 and have an expiry of Feb 2013...I saw in CIC website that those with AEO will have to apply before June 30..( but now it's gone in the CIC website) question is if you have an AEO how long will it take to process you visa? I saw some of the timeline that those applied 2009 they have not yet received the Visa, but there are those who applied 2011 but already have a visa? how come? I thought the processing will be like " first come first served"?!?! I'm just confused....
