Does anyone know any case that applied inland and withdraw application and apply outland? Is there any problem with outland if you change your inland application ( because went to local CIC)... Do you get approval?

Thanks

Honestly I can't see where you would get any benefit from withdrawing your application.
You would have to repay everything. Also, they could very well still put your application on hold outside as well if nothing is different from the application you sent inland.

It is all looked at the same for the most part.
If I were you I would just order my FOSS notes and if they are worried about the relationship, find what they are looking for, send it to them and sometimes that help cuts the timeline of your application.

Well, I just see outland is very faster than inland.. In my case Local CIC said they will review in february 2012 or longer... I dont care about paying again the fees, cause I will have to pay anyways everything expires after a year... I just dont want to sit a wait for somethinga that it takes forever...

I got my Foss notes last month and I know whats going on with my case...

I have the same problem here.
I am really thinking to switch my application to outside Canada, maybe London. It's only taking few months for cases to be finalized.
I applied in December 2008 and I been waiting. I got my AIP back in June 2008 and no more updates.
It's so frustrating. Applying from outside Canada is way better and faster than applying from inside, plus you can always come visit during the application process.
My concern is that, what should I tell them for the reason of switching my application to outside Canada, and the other issue is that I have to prove that I will come to live back in Canada after I get my PR.
It is confusing!!

Yes, Is faster outland than inland...Whats your local CIC?.. I think if you are the sponsor living outside canada you need to prove that you will come to live back to Canada.. if you are the person Who is being sponsor you dont need that because your sponsor is the one responsible for you...

My local CIC is Calgary.
The thing is that everything is straightforward, the only thing they are waiting on is the background checks.

Ok.. So you will get it soon.. My CiC is Calgary too, but I dont have AIP yet so is going to take longer.. They are very slow right now... :(

so did they transfer your file to local office in Calgary for the AIP? and how long its been?

They transfered my file in August 2009 without AIP and since then I havent heard anything just a letter that said they will review my file in February 2012 because they have a lot of work and other priorities...

That's like a year down the road, if I were I would apply from outside Canada.

here is my timeline

We received your application for permanent residence on September xx, 2009.

We started processing your application on October x, 2009.

We transferred your application to the local CIC office on March 9, 2010. The local CIC office may contact you.

we received a letter on Monday 15th march saying file was transfered to Mississauga for further review. i didnt even get AIP.........WHAT DO U THINK OF THIS...PLZ ADVICE...

...

Hello, yes is a long time I may apply outside, depends on what I heard in the next months...

Hey did you apply inland? Your local CIC is Mississauga?

Usually is because they dont believe that your relationship is authentic... I recomend you to get your FOSS notes and that explain you why it was tranfered your file to cic without AIP
