Freaking out a little bit...

I was just reviewing my application.. and I checked NOT to withdraw if my sponsorship was rejected.

I am still waiting for my sponsorship letter in the mail...

My DH's application says IN PROCESS on eCAS...

what are my options if I am rejected? -- The mail wont come for a while -- and since I am in Uruguay - I can't get the agents to tell me anything on the phone...

What are my chances of being rejected? And them already processing the application? I have to figure out my life in the next 4 weeks!!! Ahhhhhh! This sponsorship letter is going to be the death of me..

The decision was made on the 22nd of June.. and the letter was sent out then too...

I have a straight forward application -- except I live in Uruguay with DH and kids...

Wow your freaking out way toooooo early lol.Take a few breaths and dont worry yet.Your letter will come soon.If you filled out your app correctly and have sent in your proof dont worry.There are times when it says decision made and they dont tell you what util you get the letter in the mail,that makes you sweat a little.

Hi,

Relax. I know this process can be very stressful, but fortunately in your case this is the easy part.

The sponsorship part of the application is the most objective one. They simply make sure the application is complete, and that the sponsor fulfills the formal requirements. If this is a spousal sponsorship, the requirement is for the sponsor not to be on welfare or in bankruptcy.

I know.. but the thing is is that i live in Uruguay with my Husband and kids..
and I am going home (canada) with them in Aug.. and depending on the outcome of everything I would probably stay in Toronto b/c the tickets are sooo expensive.. and if my DH would probably be approved by December.. its not so bad..

but i can't make that decision if i don't know if i a least passed the first part.. thats the part im most worried about.. The visa office has me on file for the past 5 years getting passport updates, (me and kids) and citizenship requests (kids) and my DH has signed for all of those.. and our addresses have been on those too...

plus they know me at the embassy here in MVD -- and they know the kids and my DH -- not to say that that would do us any favours.. but i think already being on file we kind of prove something.. rather than just popping out of thin air...

I will wait until Friday and then try to call again.. i have to pack up my life in 5 suitacases potentially! while working 70hs/week and looking after 2 kids.. soo i am a little stressed

but its a good stress
