I just received my French Bulletin No. 3 certificate required by CIC for French police clearance. My concern is there is just one line in the certificate that too in French.

I am not able to understand anything from this. Can anybody please help me with this.

Have you tried Google translate?

Also without typing it here how are we supposed to know what it says?

It is not about typing, it is not a document which can be understood by typing. The statement translation means:

"Statement of convictions to appear in bulletin no. 3 under s. 777 of the Code of Criminal Procedure"

Nothing can be understood from this.. That is why I asked if anybody else had received it and can explain me what does it mean.

What's your question? You have the police check. They are called bulletin 3.

I know its strange, the statement I mentioned in my previous message is the only statement.. Then there is a coded box type with checks, and a cross is done on the box..

Now, I cannot understand anything from it.. So, if anyone would know about it, might be able to help me in understanding it..

Understand what? Understand the entire certificate? How can we if we can't see it?

Does it look like this?

If so that is an empty section where if you had a criminal history it would show up

I have been awaiting the delivery of my French Bulletin No.3. They sent me a mail confirming it has been processed on 27th March 2017. Till this date, am yet to receive this letter. Please what was the time span from confirmation to receipt in your own case? Any method of reaching out to these guys as per complaint of non receipt of the letter? Thanks.

I have a digital copy of the Bulletin 3 issued in 2011. I haven't been in France since. Can I include it in my application instead of asking a new one?

I have also requested a new one, but in case if its delivery could take time, I am wondering If I could use the old one instead.

On the website of the French ministry of Justice they wrote that Bulletin 3 has no expiry date:

"Quelle est sa durée de validité ?
Votre document n’a pas de durée limite, toutefois certains organismes peuvent imposer qu’il date de moins de trois mois."

It is valid as long as it is issued after you left France.

That's cic rule; in case they don't accept it, you will not be rejected but instead be requested one as additional document request.

But it should be issued only after you left France (or after last visit in France).
