Dear colleagues,

When filling the forms, how should I answer this question: How many formal years of education do you have?

I am pursuing my PhD. Can I count the years of my PhD studies which I have completed so far (because my documents show that I have been doing PhD since 1 year ago)? Or I cannot count it at all?

By the way my education status is:
12 year school
4 year bachelor
2 year master
1 year PhD (so far completed out of 3-4 years total)

Why bother?
With ur 12+4+2 (=18 yrs) of studies incl. your master's u will get 25 points, which is the maximum.

"Master’s or PhD AND at least 17 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study - 25" - Page 7, EG7.

Read EG7... please!

Thanks. By the way, I have just checked with a lawyer and they recommended to mention 19! Thought it might be helpful to others. ;)
