Form IMM 0008 changed in April but we didn't notice

My wife just told me that she saw that form IMM 0008 was updated in April 2015 according to the website but when she signed that form and everything else on April 30 she had checked to make sure that the forms were up to date including February 2015 for IMM 0008. I also checked before sending in the package on May 22.

So did CIC slip this by us or did we both not notice? Now we are worried, over a week since CPC-M received our package, that it will be returned because we used an older version of the IMM 0008 form. Should we just wait and hope? I think sending in another form with explanation would just mess things up more.

This happened to us as well when we submitted last year. Luckily we had no problems. They will sometimes return a whole package but generally I think this is only done if the form is out of date by a considerable amount or there are other glaring issues, even then they often just email applicants and ask them to submit an updated form. Given its only been a few weeks difference I think you should be ok.

I went over the February and April 2015 version of IMM 0008 line by line and I found only 2 differences. An asterisk is in question 9 beside 1) in April but not in February. A fix to make sure at least one citizenship is entered. And the disclosure at the bottom, after the signature, has changed. If that is all then I don't think we would be forced to send the new form in.

Truthfully, I checked as well in May and the application on the website was not updated as far as I could see. so I don't know when they actually "put" that up on the website.
Most people didn't notice until late in May..which is when I think they really put it up there.... even if does say April.... or maybe... we are all just blinded by paperwork to the point of dizziness.........

I keep worrying they are going to send my file back to send the updated form........

They changed it in May but claim April. The only difference I could find between the new and the old form was some wording in the declaration statement in the end, which I don't think is a big deal. We should all be fine.

Same situation here. I downloaded all the application files in May 5th and submitted July 11th. And I just found out yesterday that the IMM0008 I downloaded and submitted was actually Feb 2015 version. (I downloaded in May!!!) I called CIC Call Centre this morning and the agent told me they might just ask me to send the updated one but there is also a possibility that they will return my whole package back to me.... now I'm worried...
