No, I checked with people at the old address too. We do have some letters but not from the CHC/NDVO though. Even the other forum members confirmed that they havent received any letters yet, though it was specified in the eCAS status.

All the best to everyone!!! Hope all of us start getting MRs very soon.....

Let me ask you couple of things;

a) did you sent the address change letter with signature or not? I mean have u received a conformation from NDVO that they have updated your address or not?

b) Do you mean to change your corrospondance address too? or its just you have moved, however, you have a permanent address?

I send twice for address change. and got email for both the time. However, I have got a permanent address for communication so It just dont matter to me.

HI Kavya,

Yes, I sent the letter with signature. Where we have moved back to is the permanent address (Same as in the passport).

We haven't received any response as yet. It's just on 7th we sent the letter and email and the courier was confirmed as received by NDVO on 9th. I believe it will take time for them to respond (based on what I read here).

BTW, Within what duration did you get the reply to your email on address change?

atleast 15 days for sure. it can go upto a month...
at the same time now you are safe as well your further correspondence is going to be the address you have sent with. Because, no matter when u receive conformation of address change, they leave a note on your profile, which when u will order ur CAIPS NOTES it comes there. I mean in my case, I changed address two times so I got 30 pages in my CAIPS NOTES, where they have every thing much clear. I also sent new passport details to them which they included into it

God Bless and relex,

Hi all,

So the MI2 / MI3 from NDVO that are getting MRs - what was their eCAS status. Was the eCAS just InProcess, or was it InProcess with a processing date?

And after how many days were they getting the MRs / PPR etc.

Regards,

J

Sandy,

As per yoour timeline and the current processing trends....they would review your files in the comming weeks. For sure by June 2012.

If you are able to get 67 points, then they would process your file further. What we dont know is how you calculated your points and how the IO is going to calculate your points on the basis of yoour documentation. If you have provided fool proof documentation and if the IO is convinceed about it then ofcourse they would award all those points. But as for the most of things we dont know...Obviously we are not certain about the outcome.

Anyway you have submitted your application and now hope and pray for the best and the BEST will happen to you... RELAX !

On another note -Members in here can help you determine your points if you could explain your case in here, but again whether the VO would award you those points depends largely on the quality of your supporting documents.

I think your score is 25+10+8+4+21=68

One area of concern is your IELTS score, I think from July 2012 onwards they'll award more points to IELTS and reduce points for work experience. Let's hope a selection decision will be made on your application before that.

if your education was 10+2+3+3 yrs ie more than 17 yrs - 25 points. If your degree is from a recognised institute and university and if you have attahced fool proof documents to support the claim, you will be awarded 25 points.

age will fetch you - 10 points, provided you have required documentation to prove that.

IELTS will fetch you -8 ponts, provided you had attatched valid certificate.

Adaptability would fetch you -4 points , if your wife's degree is from a recognised institute and university and you had supported your clain with valid documentation.

Work experience would fetch you - 21 points,if you had woked with the same JD for the last 4+ years in a recognised institute which is authirised to provide diplomas or degrees and if your work experience certificate match the JD of the NOC, please note they aer not only looking for word to word match.

Allltogether you would make 68 poiints..Yes you are onthe border. Now the most the crucial thing for you is to prove your work experience.I belive you had provided a valid work experience certificate with a matching JOb description.
Now even if the IO is a bit confused they will cross verify with your Employer.I hope you are still working with the same employer, You can expect VO to call your employer to verify your claims and later they would call you too.One of our member with thee saem NOC had sucj an experience receently. They would check the address off your work place, your salary and may even ask your colleagues names. So please make sure that you and your employer is prepared to answer, incase if they call.

But i think there is nothing to worry, you would certainly make it ..Soo RELAX !
