It takes about 4 weeks to reach the electronic file. They don't inform you that the medical has been received, it will show up on Ecas. For a passport request, it depends on how far along they are with the security and background checks.

Hello everyone there! I have got SINP nomination. It's already being 5 months I am waiting for medical exam request after I have sent the full application to CIC.
Could someone advise why it is taking so long, as I know it always took 2-3 months to get your medical request after they got your full application.
What can be the reason, please update.

There is no rule that says 12 months processing. From other applicants experiences on this forum, they have posted about receive MR after 12 months. I got my PR this year and I applied in September 2016 and got my MR in November 2017.

Oh, I see, you just presented the statistics. There are many people whose cases were under my immigration lawyer's responsibility, and tey have applied to CIC after getting nomination, have received their MR after 3-4 months. I have applied in November, and since then have got only an Acknowledgement letter from Immigration Section, Warsaw. Already very nervous

Many Feb. March 2017 PR applicants are still waiting for Medical request. There V.O. is New Delhi and Singapore.
Generally CIC tries to compete their 16 to 18 months time period to provide PR. For Application submission to Visa became available

Hello, I would like to share my emotions with you. Today I got my MR, and I am very happy after waiting so long time.
I have a query, kindly ask to assist. I am the main applicant and my passport value date is ok. My family members need to change their passports though they are expired.
