Yun po kc ang dilemma ko ngyon.

Hello everyone i'm just new here, share ko lang ang experience ko.. I submitted my application for open work permit last feb.06 thru vfs global, feb.19 i received an email from the cic requesting me to undergo for medical exam, i chooses IOM for my medical exam last march 5, march 11 i again received a text an email asking me to pick up my processed passport in vfs global...i called up the IOM if they have forwarded my results to the embassy and they said that it was still on process, i will took 2 to three weeks for them to forward it to the embassy.. And them i got so worried , but still hoping for positive news ...i went to the vfs and get my documents and there is a letter attached telling that my application for work permit was refused...for reasons of family ties in canada and in country of residence , personal assets and funds and not adequate care and support...thank you GOD BLESS U ALL

Hello Kababayans :D

Thank you very much in advance.

Hello Mhariz,

Since the spouse is holding an Open work permit, he or she can work anywhere and may exceed 40 hours per week. Only a worker holding a Close Work Permit is not permitted to have a 2nd job.

Thank you so much 2012isdyear.

Hello,

So you are the Principal Applicant and you are currently here in Canada? If yes, the visa office processing your PR Application is Ottawa, and so if you receive the "Ready Visa" Letter wherein request for passport na, sa Ottawa mo ipapadala lahat ng passports ninyong family. Or dadalhin mo in case na susunduin mo sila. In case na susunduin mo sila, be sure na either may PR card ka na paglabas mo ng Canada or hindi mo pa i surrender ang Copr mo pag labas mo ng Canada. You will only present the COPR upon your entry back in Canada.

Salamat po sa sasagot!

Check on your Work permit. Walang bawal sa Open work permit. Pag close naka sulat sa Work permit mo na you cannot work elsewhere.
