Hay kaloka, mali pala ang registry. Dapat pala tumawag sa Alberta Health. :) Good news na-extend nga ang health card namin ni hubby ng 3 more months habang wala pa yung bagong work permit. :D So wag dapat maniwala sa registry office. hmp. hehehe. Mabait pala ang Alberta health. Kasi may kilala kami as in na-extend na sya ng 3 months pero nung manganganak na sya, wala pa din work permit nya. So sabi ng Alberta Health is ipa-hold lang sa hospital yung bill. Ayun, nalibre pa din. Galing noh? :D Praise God!

Sa Calgary ako, sis. :)

yey nice sis..thanks God talaga...ah 2 hours away kami from Calgary sis..i'm located here sa central alberta naman...malapit kmi sa rd deer.

hello everyone!

this is my first post to this forum, but i made sure that i've read this thread from the start muna. first, congratulations to all of those who already got their visas! :) i've learned a lot from all your posts here. my wife has working in Edmonton, AB for more than two years now, just going home for a very short vacation once a year. we've been together since 2003, and she went home early this month and we got married. she was recently promoted as a supervisor and now that her job is classified as skilled, i'm hoping to start my SOWP application once i get a copy of her employment contract. kakaalis lang nya last sunday so hirap pa rin ako makatulog, kaya ginugol ko ang oras ko sa pagbasa ng lahat ng posts sa thread na ito.

I have all my documents prepared na, including my wife's LMO & work permit. all done in 4 days. yung employment contract na lang nya ang kulang kasi hindi naibigay sa kanya bago umuwi. i based my documents on what you ladies have submitted. ang tanong ko lang ay ok lang ba na computerized lahat ng mga sagot ko dun sa application forms? hindi kasi ako makatulog dahil namimiss ko wife ko kaya eto kinareer ko yung mga pdf files ng mga forms from the CEM at in-edit ko para typed input na lang lahat. ang isusulat ko na lang ay ang pirma ko at yung date submitted :P okay lang kaya yun? kahig manok kasi penmanship ko ;D

For proof that our marriage was not arranged, i'll be burning a disc with around 70 pictures of us over the years, either just as a couple or with old friends. we only have a few email correspondences kasi palagi naman kami sa ym or sa skype. My government-issued documents, including the marriage contract from the civil registrar's office (DFA-authenticated na rin), have all been photocopied. The only thing left for me to do is to print the forms, her LMO & Work Permit, and prepare the manager's cheque. Saka her employment contract, that's it. gusto ko na nga sanang mag-apply na baka sakaling umabot sa pasko (or kahit new year man lang) pero malabo yun.

Sana maging mapalad din ako katulad ninyong mga nabigyan na ng visa :)

Hi kenj! welcome to the forum... I think there's no issue whether you accomplished the PDF forms handwritten or computerized for as long as you make it very legible. For computerized, it definitely is.

Good to hear you could submit your application soon. As to mine, still waiting for hubby's new work permit this December.. pero willing ako maghintay.. I'm happy to have been given this chance. Good luck sayo!!! God will grant your desire... :) Keep your faith and you'll see how God works for you..

hirap lang kasi mag-adjust ulit kapag kakaalis lang ng partner, parang gusto ko pauwiin na lang ulit ;D pero this will pass, konting tiis lang and the firm belief that i'll be with her sooner than i expect :)

syempre hindi pa ako natutulog since kagabi. papasok na ako maya-maya pero gising pa rin utak ko ::) hintay ko na lang paggising ni wifey para maka-skype ko ulit :D

Thanks, too... You know what, God knows how sincere and hopeful we are to be with our spouse. That's why I'm positive that He will grant us our visa in His perfect time... Natural lang yan uneasy feelings mo kc nasanay kang magkasama kayo palagi.. Di bale, mabilis lang ang 3 months, di mo mamamalayan, nandun kana with her. Good luck!!! :D
