About your question, yes, wala pa work permit ni hubby na bago from his new employer. January expected namin na dating nun but I am planning to apply na for my SOWP this coming December. Actually, yun isa nating sister dito, si Ynoweh, yun din ginawa nya. And I think, she's the best person to ask. Tumawag din kasi sya sa call center and they said, pwede naman daw yun. I also talked to Mercan (nagbayad na kasi kami sa kanila, e), and they said pwede din daw, basta pag dating ng new WP, isubmit na as additional docs. Based sa mga sinabi mo, tama naman docs mo, e. But some of our sisters here, submitted proof of funds din. And yun iba, may mga pinadala pang pictures/videos proving na married talaga sila (decide ka na lang kung magsusubmit ka na rin nito). Wala sya sa checklist ko from Mercan but I intend to submit my hubby's bank certificate para sure. Here's the checklist that Mercan gave me:
- Updated resume ko
- Certificate of Employment of all jobs taken
- College diploma
- Transcript of records
- HS diploma and Transcript (if not a college grad)
- NBI clearance (taken last 3 months)
- NSO copies of birth cert and marriage contract
- Hubby's work permit copy
- Hubby's working visa copy
- Hubby's LMO copy
And me naman, i will add our proof of funds. Mga sisters, tama ba itong checklist ko? May kulang po ba? Pa-help na lang po. Thanks!
Aside from that, yun mga Embassy forms natin, IMM Form 1295 and IMM 5257 at yun Personal Information Sheet. Downloadable sa www.cic.gc.ca. Ladies, question ulit, nabasa ko dito ang Work Info Sheet ang finill out nyo, sa Mercan kasi, sabi nila sakin Personal Info Sheet daw. Haaayyyy, I don't know which is which. Please help me....
About your kids naman, pasensya na dear, wala pa kasi akong anak so I don't know. Our other sisters can help you with regards to that.
Naku, I hope nakatulong ito. Actually, some of our sisters here are telling me to wait for the actual WP before ako magpasa, para mas sure daw. It's really up to us kung isusubmit na ba natin ng wala pang WP ni hubby or antayin na lang natin. But whatever you decide on, pray for it. Ako talaga, I read the updates here sa forum and at the same time, I pray really hard. Lahat naman tayo dito gusto lang talaga mabuo ulit family natin diba? I'm sure, God will guide you in your decision and He will be with you during the whole process of your application. God bless, sis and update mo na lang kami ha!
