Hi po. Pahelp naman. My common law partner has been approved for nomination. I was added as dependent bago pa man lumabas ang nomination. Then nkpgapply n din kami s cic just recently for PR. I wanted to apply for SOWP since nominated naman while waiting for AOR which will take 2-3months. My question is, since common law partner lang kami, what proof of relationship can i provide? Sa nomination certificate it doesnt state naman his dependents. How can we prove na kasama ako s ainp application nya.. Or other suggestions maybe. Thank you.

Can you please help me out how to change my gf common law status kasi hindi nya ako nadeclare as common law eh na approve na student visa nya and she is already studying na..we have been together for more than 3 years na..although we are staying almost every week at her condo hindi prin kami same address although we have bank account..we plan to get married ng april 2016 is it ok to apply 1 week or 1 month after we get our marriage cert?or do we need alteast 6 months or years to make it convincing..thanks guys!

Hello, common law din apply ko pero nasa Macau ung partner ko. My nakausp ako na pinay na kaka-approve lng ng SOWP, married nmn cia. She used her husband's OEC kase same last name sila and valid daw un for 1 year. I think pag common law you need your own OEC. I guess just bring a copy of Statutory Common-Law form na submit mo sa CIC. Or if my iba ka pang copy na submit mo as proof ng common law nyo.
Sa Canada border nmn daw just bring everything even work permit ng nasa Canada, AOR if u have and documents from CIC.


My question pala ko sau, nung ng submit ka ng SOWP and fill up ka ng Statutory form 5409 anong date ang nilagay nyo? The date lang ba na ngsama kau?
Ngre-apply kase kami. 2009-2012 kami ng sama. sobra dami nmn evidences pero na-reject kase for some reason nakinig ako sa ng-advice saken na palitan ko ng "present" ung up to date. Sa tingin ko dun ako ngkamali. kaya ng update km lahat docs and I corrected that.

Marami din ba kau submit na proof as common law?

meron ba dito na approved SOWP recently? Im an international student, applied online inside Canada since dati ako work permit. I included in my submission for my wife OWP and trv for my son. Naapproved na ang aking student permit pero ung sa wife at son ko til now wala pa ring update since pinasa ko ang applications nila. they did upfront medical.

Anybody here who are still waiting for PPR?

Hi guys, meron ba dto common law pero continuous relationship kahit nasa Canada ung partner nila at hinde mgkasama ng more than a year or so?
Marami nmn kc km na provide na evidence na ngsama km for almost 3 yrs pero ni-refuse pa rin ng VO.

Hello guys,

For those who have already landed, hinanapan ba kayo ng OEC sa airport? I know hindi na kelangan ng OEC pero confusing kasi yung mga nababasa kong experience ng mga sowp holders. I went to poea trinoma to inquire and sabi nila they can't give me an OEC bec I don't have an offer letter. I tried to request for a documented confirmation from them pero hindi nila ako binigyan. I-explain ko na lang daw sa Immigration Officer sa day ng flight ko :'(

Hi! May I ask ano po mga requirements nyo when you left the Philippines? Same question din sa akin. Kailangan pa ba ng PDOS and exit clearance from POEA? Please sna may sumagot. Thank you and God bless po.

Hi I'm alvin bolisay currently working in Taiwan as factory worker. I'm applying for working visa in Canada as general pig farm worker in Ontario Canada, but sadly my application was refuse last April 8 2016, the reason are

In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:

Purpose of visit
Employment prospect in country of residence

I have a pig farm experience for years in the Philippines.
