Yes, I do have one. I don't go by the new name yet but I plan to change my birth certificate and passport to claim the CRS points for having a brother in Canada.
I see. In that case, I think you have two options:
1) submit an affidavit of same person, stating that the person with the different names is one and the same
2) simplify and make all your documents under the name you intend to use

Submitting the affidavit however might still require attaching the other documents in Option (2).

I'm choosing 4211 because that's where I want to base my application on since there are more PNP programs that include 4211 (vs 4112) in their in-demand list and I need to upgrade and get licensed before I can practice 4112.

My concern is this: My inputs in my profile -
NOC Code: 4211 - Paralegal and related occupations
Job title: Lawyer

Di ba parang off? Thanks.

Liken it to finishing a college degree but not practicing what you studied. :)

It does happen.

What matters is the duties you have performed match 50% of more of the NOC’s duties you’re choosing.

Ok. Was concerned, kasi it looks like i'm misrepresenting something. Hehe. Thanks.

Weirdly enough, if you claim the wrong NOC, mas likely pang red flag for misrepresentation. Basta whichever you claim, important you can back it up... solidly. If in doubt, LOE. :)

Unang una kailangan mo maging masipag magbasa kung DIY ka.

You have 2 options: Express Entry as FSW (dapat nasa 440+ yung CRS score mo para madraw - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp) or kung mababa, you can try as provincial nominee. You just have to check each province kung saan in demand yung job mo (you should know your NOC code for your job).

Basic requirements: IELTS, ECA, and proof of funds!

DIY din ako. You can also join FB group #PinoyCanada.. Madami nag DIY dun. Good luck!

For those who applied in PNP of Saskatchewan. Under their point system, master's and doctorate degrees are given 23 points, then next category na is 20 points for bachelor or a 3/+ year degree program. WES assessed my educ as "4 years of professional study".

In the Federal Skilled Worker Program Factor Points, a doctorate degree is given 25 points, while master's and professional degrees are given 23. Can I choose 23 too for SINP? Thanks.

Hi guys, I just want to ask if inaaccept po ba nila ang eteeap diploma for credential assessment and may chance po ba na makarating sa canada using eteeap diploma?
Fyi.
Eteeap diploma po is a program sa Philippines for undergrad, 1 year study po and then may bachelor diploma kana.

Thanks :)

Hello,

Does anyone here na nakapag try na mag-padala ng personal stuff (in Balikbayan boxes) to Canada? I'm looking for a shipping via sea freight, so far Big C Cargo pa lang yung nakikita ko (aside from UPS/DHL/Fedex na mahal). Any inputs are appreciated.
