Hello! I withdrew my partner's WES application and switched to IQAS. We were able to ask another culinary graduate from CSB who tried WES and indeed, it's equivalent to 2 years only. I don't have much info as of now since IQAS processing takes a longer time than WES.

Hi. I got this from another forum. I wish you will be as hopeful as i am now while anxiously waiting for the results.
My experience: I submitted to IQAS for ECA and was awarded 3 years bachelor. When I tried the WES online tool equivalency, the unofficial result was 2 years post secondary.
BUT, I cannot speak for all cases. My school is College of Saint Benilde. DLSU Manila gets much better result in WES online tool equivalency. In my opinion, schools, matter.
Before submitting to IQAS, I made a lot of research and unfortunately, there was little to no info about my inquiry, then. So I took the risk and submitted to IQAS (I initially submitted to WES but later withdrew). Added cost, yes, but higher point - so, OK lang. Now I am happier.
By the way, it took almost 3 months for IQAS to evaluate my credential.

Oh I've read this too. This was one of the reasons why we decided to switch to IQAS.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope they grant a Bachelor's degree equivalence! Are you expecting the assessment result anytime soon?
I was expecting it last October 1. It’s been past the 12 week mark and no updates yet. We tried to email them but we were told processing times vary depending on the research and verification which made me even more anxious about the results
From what I've seen around the forum, mukhang pwede naman. The hard copy for IELTS is needed though.

After months of waiting, me and my partner finally got our IQAS results
Timeline:
Aor 2 for my partner: July 31
Aor 2 for me - September 7
Been emailing IQAS on why we have not received any results for my partner since expected time of getting them was at October. But no sensible response was ever gotten despite the numerous follow ups. Today, we found out that the delay was because we requested for the hard copy of the results to be delivered in one package to save costs. Hehehe.
The result: Canadian Equivalency of 3 years bachelors degree for both of us!!!
Schools: Enderun and College of St. Benilde.
It was worth the wait.
Now time to take ielts....

Ask ko lng kasi yung 5 year Engineering Bachelors ko is 3 yrs ang equivalent with WES. I recieved an ITA this Nov draw. My friend is also considering to apply with express entry. Kung kukuha xa ng Masters for 2 years? What cud be the WES result? Will it be higher than the Bachelors Equivalent? Anyone who has experienced this??

He did try the free assessment tool. Result says the 5 year engineering degree is comparable to a bachelors and the masters is also comparable to a masters in canada. The thing is 2 years ago when I try the assessment it resulted to a 2 year diploma for me but actual result went to a 3 year. Could the k-12 education system which is newly implemented in the Philippines affect the latest results?
Is IQAS higher in terms of assessing Philippine education?

Thing is, the wes equivalency tool is just a preview of your canadian education equivalency. Other factors still apply when you send them your documents. Thats why some get the same results when they try the online tool. Others get higher or lower results.

Misis ko po ay nasa CA ngaun at may working Visa valid for 2 years. Kararating nya lang nung April. Tapos this month nakipag hiwalay sya sa akin at wla n ata balak makipag balikan. May isa kaming anak. Gusto ko pang ayusin to pra sa bata. At sya n tlga naisip kong kasamang tumanda. Sa ngaun sinusubukan ko prin sya ligawan at kausapin hnd pa ako nirereplyan pero hopeful pa rin ako. Ang tanong ko po sna kung hnd nga nya kami isama sa pag apply nya ng PR. Ano pwede ko gawin pra makapag apply pra sa amin ng anak ko. At least pag makarating man kami ron mas malaki chance kong maitama ang lahat pra sa amin.
