suggestion lang: if you do decide to take the ielts, bili ka nung official reviewer ng IELTS (latest). i find na yung mga contents sa reviewer are exactly the same format na hinahanap nila sa exams, lalo na yung writing. just keep on reviewing until you get the hang of it, dahil (i personally feel na) pareho lang talaga yung format ng reviewers compared to the exam - iniba lang yung content. nagpapahirap lang sa actual day ng exam ay yung pressure, perceived stress at yung lamig ng exam room. haha :D good luck!

got it! ill take note of those po. :)

Hello!
Nakapagbayad na po ako sa services ng go2canada. Ang requirements na binigay nila sken for JD is:

Upon request of supporting document by the Canadian Embassy, you must secure the following: *

Ø Approved DJD will be printed in respective company letterhead signed by Immediate Head supported with business card. Please also have the initial pages of your jd signed by your signatory (this will serve as your Certified Job Description).

Ø It is very important that your companies have Certified JD particularly your qualified employments to be competitive in your qualification and work relatedrequirements.

Ø Declared employers regardless of its employment status (part-time, on-call, contractual, regular) also requires certificate of employment, employment contract, income tax returns and payslips as solid supporting documents.

Ø It is important that you check and verify your readily available work-related document to ensure that it coincide with the final and approved DJD.

Ø Provide dry sealed or stamped of your employer/s. (optional

Nung nagrequest alo ng JD sa dati kong work ang binigay nila is ung own format nila. Ok lang po ba un? Also, hnd pa ba pwede na COE at ung dating JD na binigay saken nung nagwowork palang ako ang isubmit?

Thank you

- length of time worked in the position
- annual salary in the position
- number of hours per week worked in that position
- nature of position (full-time, part-time, etc.)
- main tasks in the position
- benefits, leaves, etc.

I have the feeling itong rinequest sa yo ng go2canada ay for their internal use pa lang and not yet the IRCC submission. Ask them what they need it for.

Oo naman balikbayan box is good!

Naisip ko kasi yung layover, need to change plane so need to collect baggages tapos check in nanaman. Kaya naiisip ko sana mag goods to follow. Pero sabi nga baka daw mahold.

share ko lang po tong story na i think related sa pagmove ng furniture from overseas. may family friend po kami na nagship ng furniture nila from the philippines (not sure how much was the cost, pero medyo mahal din). pagdating sa canada, nahold sa immigration. pinabalik ulit dahil may cockroaches daw yung sofa/shelves. so in the end, bumili na lang sila ng furniture in canada.

problema ko din po kung pano imove ang some stuff (e.g. books) to canada. a friend suggested na pag may magttravel sa canada, ipasabay na lang hahaha or magexcess baggage sa airline.
Thanks for sharing sis. Checking for different options. :)

Tama si Bellaluna!

As per the format, normally hindi talaga HR ang gagawa nun for you. Ikaw ang gagawa in word file tapos attach mo then request ka na iprint nila sa company letter head then sign and stamp ng HR.

In the event, sinabi nila na they are not allowed to do that. Dapat Black and White ang conversation nyo ng HR. So when you submit the Letter of Employment may explanation ka bakit hindi sya from format na gusto nila.

Yung amin kasi ganun nangyari, so what we did yung previous supervisor namin made a Letter of Affidavit with all the details needed by CIC. Then, I attached the normal Letter of Employment from the company, email exchanges na I was asking for the format CIC wants but they cannot give and a Letter of Explanation.

All the Best!

Coming from Baguio City, talagang eto ang una namin hahanapin kahit san kami hehe. Sanay kami sa ukay ukay at sa tawaran portion and sabi ng ate ko they were able to furnish the house in just a week after they arrived. Some of the stuff pa nga daw po ay given for free sa mga garage sale.

+1 for this.
IMO I don't think it's practical or worthwhile to try to have things shipped from Asia to Canada. I will try to sell as many things as I can in Manila. Maybe the only appliances (apart from my laptop) that I will choose to bring to Canada would be my KitchenAid stand mixer (it's so durable that it's now out of production) and PlayStation. ;D

Hi Zen, Salamat! Sa Toronto kami mag-land. :D

Oo nakakaexcite nga at the same time nakakakaba, kasi this will be a big move for my family.

All the best sa application mo!

Hope to see all of you though medyo malayo kami sa downtown toronto. :)

Hi Warquezho,

Deadline is before magexpire yung medical mo. Technically one year sya from the date of your medical.

Pumunta kami in person to handover the passport tapos self collection lang din. Mabilis lang, Friday binigay ko the following week ready na sya for pick-up.

yes, you have the option na ipadeliver, please check this link: http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Singapore/

Thanks Anpotpot.

@ate bellaluna,

Hehehe I will choose not to disclose my actual age. :P
Hindi sila nag reply in 2 weeks, so nag-follow up email kami, tapos 3 days later nag-reply na sila sa email with just a few lines: "Dear Applicant, The new deadline is March 31. Please be guided accordingly." We included that email sa VFS submission including the PPR letter.

Sige Revivax salamat!

Malamig? hehe
