Did I understand this correctly?

Let's say I submit my application for EE. Then I got an invitation to apply for Ontario via Nomination, so I submit all the requirements today. You mean, from today and until the day I fly to Canada, the lowest wait time is 17 months?

Can anyone confirm?

No, von0904's application falls under the old FSW 2014 (pre-Express Entry) processing time currently at 17 months. Express Entry (without the OINP process) takes 6 months to process.

Processing times on CIC website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/

Hi all!

Btw, if okay lang ano po ba mga EE profiles nyu, yung years of experience at profession, etc po..
Sorry dami ko po tanong hehe

Ako kasi is IT related, 24yo, 4 yrs working palang.. then kukuha palang ako nang ielts exam(24pts ang need ko) at ung sa eca ko inaayos pa..

Thank you po! ;D :D

Thanks for the reply bellaluna! Yun nga, my wife checked kanina naging 17 months na ang average processing time. Last we checked before CNY, 13 or 14 months. Valid pa naman IELTS namin mag-asawa. Kaya lang we need to get WES evaluation for her degree kasi sa FSW hindi naman kinailangan. Pasok din naman ung NOC experience ko. I also checked EE eligibility online at pasok din naman. I got a reference code. For now, request na lang kami sa WES.

Salamat ulit. God bless us all!

Hi po,
Just an fyi. D po necessary to get ECA for spouse, yung principal applicant lang required. But ECA for spouse will add another 7-8 points sa CRS nyo. Pls weigh it out if the additional points is worth the additional gastos from WES po. The aim here is to get 450+ points... god bless po

Hi! i was informed by our agency that our TORs need to be translated since Filipino course title is in Tagalog words. Does anyone have the same problem?

This is for ECA, right? I have 4 courses that are in Tagalog words. When I requested a copy of TOR from my school, wala naman akong sinabi na kailangan i-translate. And I dont think trinanslate din nila yung courses kasi yun talaga yung course name ng mga yun. I still got my ECA (WES) certificate.

Reivax, how about for PR application? Hindi naman requirement yung tor noh? Or nagpatranslate ka ba?

Hindi naman. CIC will just look at the ECA certificate na iaaccess nila, on my case, sa WES.

Guys, may tumawag sa office kanina from Canadian Embassy daw. Tinanong yung date hired ko. OMG.

Alam ko required lang talaga ang ToR pag Canadian education or may ongoing education (i.e. no ECA).

Naks! Good luck!

Hi, I agree with Revivax. I also have 3 courses na Tagalog and yung hubby may 2 pero hindi kami nagpatranslate. We got our ECA Certificate naman na Bachelor's Degree and this is the same TOR we submitted sa eAPR. I think translation is only for those Diploma and TOR na tagalog talaga yung information. Pero pag subjects I do not think you need a translation for that.

Mukhang Manila VO nga. Gosh, kinakabahan ako. Gano ba katagal ang background investigation?

No definite timeline, case to case basis depende sa companies mo, NBI record, travel history, bank cert., VO processing speed, etc.

Ayos yan. at least may update.
Based sa experience ko at sa signature ni annpotpot, more or less two months inabot sa min from BG in progress to ppr.

Tapos as per Revivax nga mga almost 2 months pag change ng BG in progress ... PPR na kasunod.
