@ronster and reivax,

So

1. Payment sa medical, di na ma rerefund if ma deny or binawi ang ITA?
2. Payment sa application, di na rin ma rerefund if ma deny or binawi ang ITA?

How much usually ang medical?
How much usually ang application?
How much usually ang rprf?

Refundable lang ito if the applicant decides to cancel their PR visa.
Medical = 8k per person for basic, plus additional if TB/sputum test requested (if chest x-ray has scarring or nodules, etc.)
App fee = cad $550 each for PA and spouse, $150 each for dependent children
RPRF= cad $490 each for PA and spouse, waived for dependent children
If bagsak pa rin ang CAD vs Php, it's cheap. :)

In addition to this, under EE System , for the RPRF, either you pay upfront (together with application fee) or during RPRF Request which typically happens at least 2 months from your AOR (average for outland).

HI All,

Question lang po, mas ok po ba mag apply to canada thru agency or sarili sikap na lang po.

THanks
Take it from me. DIY ka na lang. Search my username sa threads.

FSW 2014 applicant ako pero I used a consultant before dahil busy din talaga ko.

Willing to help

@Belaluna and Gabana,

Tapos isa pang question.

As far as i know, sa ee dependents lang ang pwede isama meaning children. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong.

^ Yup, yung pwedeng counted lang as "family members" ay spouse/common law partner at dependent children. It's best to include them in your PR application. Hindi parents/siblings/cousins/uncles/etc. May specific case na pwedeng mag-sponsor ng relatives under Family Class, but it's hard to meet.

If may option kayo to either go to IOM or St Lukes.. piliin nyo St. Lukes sa Global City.
I had experience from both clinics and my experience in IOM is horrible. Aside from needing to call them for appointment, the whole process took whole day and I had to go from one floor to another at sobra dami tao.

Fast forward nag expire na Medical for SOWP ko, had to do another medical for PR application i tried St Lukes. It was night and day. Punta kami ng anak ko sa afternoon as walk-in. They do not do appointments. We were able to finish both upfront medical on that same afternoon.

ApplicabLe po ito sa FSW Outland. Tayo naman pInakamatagal na processing...

Here's my own monitoring (data retrieved from May-June outland applicants):

Average stats

AOR-PPR 4.44 months or 133 days
RPRF-DM 1 month
RPRF-PPR 1.8 months or 53 days

AOR-PPR seems to be more reliable as trending shows that they process 80% of applications based on AOR date. For applicants like me who paid RPRF upon request, it's just an early holiday gift if we can get PPR by 1.8 months from RPRF request

That was surely a bad experience. Based on pinoy threads, both health centers have positives and negatives

Ako naman baliktad. I had an appointment sa IOM. I went there at 9am while I finished all the tests by 11:45am (tanda ko pa!). Pinabalik ako 1:30pm dahil lunch time daw. Bumalik ako 12:45pm. Good thing na may front desk na nagwork kahit lunch break I got the results immediately

OK! I think I'll go on a weekday so there's fewer people compared to a weekend.
