There are a few topics about this already (but I can't post links yet, as far as I know), but FYI: I've know my fiancée since around 2002 (online), met in person for the first time in 2012 and have been in a relationship since then. We're getting married in July.
We are common-law
weve known each other for 3.5 years and have lived together for just over 3 years.
And we would have been married this summer, if my husbands refugee wasn't denied, but it was so we did the immigration thing, now wedding plans are being made for next year

We met online back in December 2009
Talked every day (I even wasted hours at college talking to him on the phone) for about half a year. Stayed up til dawn just having a good time. My parents thought I had lost it lol.
He decided to come down to the UK to meet me but I truly didn't believe him.. Who would do that lol!
But he did, stood there right in front of me when I picked him up I almost fainted I swear I'll never forget that day and it was pretty much love at first sight (that was in August 2010) and we've been together ever since
My wife's Canadian with Scottish ancestry, and I'm Scottish. She was on a working holiday in Scotland and we met in the restaurant that we both worked in. That was 8 years ago! We became a couple, moved to Australia together then moved back to Scotland. After 4 years we got married (coming up for our 4th anniversary now!). Recently moved back to Canada and still waiting on the visa process to finish!
