For how long visa valid

I am sponsoring my wife from Pakistan. If everything go well and smooth and she get the visa for how long the visa will be valid there before she come here?

visa is valid till the expiry of the medicals or the expiry of the passport, whichever is SOONER.

the visa is normally for one year. but you have to see which end first your medicals or your visa, as mentioned previously which ever end first

Thanks to all of you for your info. As you know it take longer to sponsor from Pakistan 14 to 27 months and the medical exam result is valid till 12 months but her passport is valid till 2017, so what happen then if it took more then 12 month she has to do second medical exam?

islamabad usually asks for a second medical exam when they start processing your case, this happens between the 13-17month mark (so far) after file transfer. following the second remed, most people have been able to get their visa within 6 months.
