Dear mates,
I don't understand one thing, so far the CIC web site informed that the average time calculated based on the previous years decision, it means the require time takes to complete 10/12 application in previous years its the average time for the processing. In SVO earlier I saw the processing time is 20 months, but now it's gone and just showing the time (-) means unknown.

Should I think last 1 year they didn't make any decision for the QIIP ?

Can any one tell something about it......

My understanding is that they only show average processing times when the VO has processed more than 10 applications (in that category) for the period.
Once the VO does not process more than 10 applications it will show - .

My case is through Port of Spain visa office and it has showed that for the past 4 years. When I checked the Open Data reports it showed that they only processed an average of 6 cases per year in my category.
The following is quoted from CIC's website:
Notes
•You can view your application status online.
•If it has been longer than the time shown above since you applied and your visa office has not contacted you, you may wish to contact the visa office that is processing your application by e-mail, letter or fax. The Call Centre does not have information about applications processed outside Canada.
•(-) indicates that not enough data are available. Processing times are shown only where an office has finalized 10 or more cases in the past 12 months.

It's really horrible. Out of thousand of application they cannot proceed 10/12 cases in a whole year. Really I don't understand how it possible to keep their selve busy with nothing...

Any way best of luck and we should pray for each other..

15/20 days earlier I informed VO by a latter and submitted my new mailing address which has changed in E-case.

I don't understand after this long period why the application status doesn't change??

You may have to wait a little bit longer as staff at London VO are going on strike!

Heloo All in this forum,

Just like everybody else here in this forum eager to know what is happening with our
files.

I am giving below details of my file and will appreciate if somebody can please advise
where do I stand as per your own personal experience.

06/10/2010 - Got confirmation of submission of initial file
25/07/2012 - Got letter to attend the interview in Montreal
29/11/2012 - Attended Interview in Montreal with Family.
15/01/2013 - Payment of CAD 120,000.00 done to MICC
22/02/2013 - Got my CSQ Certificate (for me and family)
30/03/2013 - Submitted all the required forms to CIO, Sydney, Canada
19/04/2013 - Got file no. starting with EP00000000

FYI my visa office is Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

After this date onwards when I am checking online it just shows that "application received"
only and nothing after that. I know most of the guys in this forum are in similar situation but
if you can please assist and advise as to whether same procedure is going on with you guys
or not.

When I checked online processing time it shows 43 months for Abu Dhabi but find it difficult
to believe that it will take so long after the payment has been done and file no. is generated
but then again I could be wrong here!!

Looking forward to some positive feedback.
