I got it by post after 20 days.

you can check your status online with your old file number also.

Yes I sent almost all my docs whatever I could able to get.

Hi malu,

Thanks.

I checked status with my old File # but it still shows the same:
We received your application for permanent residence on July 3, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 18, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Now it should get chnaged to 'received', as I have already sent my docs on 14th Jan.

Please let me know when I can expect changing of this status.

Meena

Check it around 27th/28th Jan. You should get latest update on your file.

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me when is right for permanent resident fee to be paid????Is it to be sent while submitting full documents to CHC???
PLS REPLY...

Reet.

It is up to you.

You can send along with full application

OR

can send latter when you would get medical and passport request.

from op6 official docs:

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

R303 specifies that RPRF fees are payable for the principal applicant and their spouse or
common- law partner.
Payment of the right of permanent residence fee (RPRF) is required before issuance of
permanent resident visas.
Applicants may make their RPRF payment at any time during the immigration process.
Successful applicants who decide not to use their visas must return them to the issuing visa office
in order to obtain a RPRF refund.
Unsuccessful applicants who have paid the RPRF should be informed as part of the refusal letter
that they are entitled to a refund, and be given an approximate time frame for its receipt.
In the case of transferred files, the visa office that finalizes the case is responsible for processing
any RPRF refund. This instruction does not apply to applications received by or transferred to the
CIO. In these cases, the CIO is responsible for the RPRF refund.

Welcome to the group.

You should get AOR but it again depends upon CHC to CHC.
Here in Delhi people are getting AOR who sent application in mid of Jan-2010.
