I am from Amritsar and I need some bit of advice from you.I am applying under NOC 2173 and have all documents ready except for proof of funds for which i have doubt that whether PF and PPF (SBP) can be shown as settlement funds or not.I have gone through lot of threads in this forum and little confused as some people saying it is not acceptable and some say it is.I have around 2+ lakhs in both of these accounts and my PF is maintained by private employee trust.

Tension na lao 22g. It will get clear. International DD's are valid for 6 months. I dont know why bank employees misguide by saying 3 months validity.

on the main FSW 2014 thread, a valuable member (forum name - ToCanadawithLove - unfortunately he got his file returned) has posted "Reason of Returns Letter" written by CIC to him. he has uploaded the whole letter.

This is the checklist which CIC use to verify whether our applications are complete or not (when they receive our applications at CIO -NOVA SCOTIA)​

Dear Bharat,
Firstly, ascertain whether these funds are liquid or not! Meaning whether you can withdraw at short notice, suppose upon your landing , can you withdraw and carry cash/draft with you to Canada. If yes, then those instruments are valid; otherwise I am afraid NO.

CIC is only concerned abt its timely conversion. You may have to provide notarised evidence in this regard.

How are you Sir. I kept on watching this forum regularly but somehow could not post anything for quite sometime. I am happy to be here once again among you guys. By the Grace of God my daughter has got PR 3 months back through CEC. My question is: How can we (her parents) get Visa to go to Canada? I mean, can she sponsor us for PR or by some other way, please guide.
