hi seniors,

I hav one prob.
My passport is before marriage n i havnt updated spouse status. Yesterday i went for PCC n they said they wil issue PCC as a single not married n it wil create porb for spouse while issusing visa as i am prime applicant. They told me to re-issue passport.
My question is can i send my single status PCC or shud i re-issue passport n then apply for PCC?
Which option is better coz if i get passport wid normal process im getting appointment in end of july n after tht it will take 40 days.
To apply under tatkal verification from higher authority is required which is not possible 4 me.
Plz suggest some way.

just fulfill the requirement of passport office and add ur husband name in the passport and ur name in ur husbands passport no need of new passport

it depends, 4weeks to 4 months

In some of exceptions even took around 4-6 months also. I have also submitted my PP on 19-03-11 & still waiting.
