1. Bonchuk I know my codes of Ethics and Guildlines otherwise I wouldn't be working with CBSA
2. [snip] if you carefully search this forum a lot of people said the same thing and it's true what they wrote most men will have an interview especially when they are from middle east.
3. [snip] I'm sponsoring my husband and he is going to have an interview like it or not. If it was the other way around it wouldn't such a big deal for the immigration.
4. [snip]An interview is not to reject you but rather they need more specific answers on what you have wrote on a piece of paper.
Marlena Ya Habtiti!
1. How can you possibly say you know the Code of Ethics, how can that be when you say this:
I can give you thousands of letter from Canada immigration to read them and how us as adjudicators we analyze them. I go through it every single day. Perhaps I should copy and paste one example and show you how we came with our decision. I don't know perhaps it will help you me and the rest of the people in the forum.
I don't want to show it to everyone because I could be in trouble but I will definitely scan one example and send it to your Hotmail account perhaps you will have a better idea on what I'm talking about.
The mere divulging of such private and personal information is a huge infringment on privacy and no doubt human rights violations!!!! I am SURE the powers that be, would have YOUR job for even just suggesting such a thing! And I find it very haneous!
2. Why the hell would you generalize and for all intensive purposes suggest racial profiling is means by which Immigration conducts its due diligence!??? Moreover I know MANY couples who have passed their applications, and the wife was the sponsoring applicant, and guess what...
[size=10pt]they didn't have an interview![/size]
3. The reality to you having an interview is probably more due to the fact that you ARE an I/O or working in CBSA, know loopholes, and are therefore subject to MORE SCRUTINY than the average Loe!
4. An Interview slows down application processing time, is a huge waste and drain of resources, and more probably only happens when not ENOUGH has been given or shown to substantiate a true relationship. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize the impact interviews have...nor the lag time they create. And again, I do think a lot of interviews and rejections for that matter stem from more from a LACK OF SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE than any other reason.
Yes September 11th has heightened security everywhere - but it would be a huge human right's violation, and there would be a ton of people lining up tomorrow if what you said is true about people having interviews due to their spouse strictly being from the middle east - and without any other grounds... and it would be completely against what Canada (remember, the country we are living in) represents.
I am not mad at your comments, but appalled and quite frankly disgusted. As an I/O, and more to the point, as a Government Employee, there is a higher standard and Code of Ethics that one should follow. You are representing the government, and you took a certain security clearance, and many people put their private lives in your hands. When you outted yourself, you subjected yourself to greater scrutiny. Such comments could cause far greater repercussions if not complaints and maybe even stall the whole Immigration system, if people are willed enough! Never mind your job!! You should really take caution in what you say, and how you present yourself.
