India - Dubai (PCR test) - New York (3 hour transit)- Toronto

I don't have US visa . Will this flight be okay for me. I am at looking mid - august and hopefully dubai - india will open up by then.

What do you all think?

No, will not work.

You need a US visa to transit through the US.

Thank you. I will wait till 25th and hope that Dubai lifts the ban or allows transit. Otherwise Maldives for me.
Aren’t Indian nationals allowed to transit through Dubai or Abu Dhabi anyway? I think you can still transit

I got classmates who travelled via various countries and were required to do PCR test from only one outside of India.

Eg - India - Frankurt - Serbia (PCR) - Frankfurt - Toronto

India - Amsterdam - Mexico (PCR) - Toronto

India - Maldives (PCR) - Somewhere - somewhere - Toronto

This is correct. Everyone is doing the same thing.

The published requirement is for you to have to do a PCR test at every stop. Unfortunately Canada depends on the airlines to enforce this.
