I got my registered letter confirming COPR today, hurray!
I am in Canada already. The closest border crossing is Osoyoos, BC. I have a couple of questions: should I just show up and go through the process or is it best to tell them in advance to expect me? (And how would I go about that?)
Secondly, in the list of documents I am expected to bring is this item: •your proof of legal status in Canada, such as a valid work permit, study permit, temporary resident permit, or visitor document, or any immigration document you have (whether valid or not).
I don't have any of those items. I am here as a visitor but immigration did not give me any visitor document and didn't even stamp my British passport. Is this going to present a problem for me?
