First step AOR received with no Client ID #?

I got my AOR from Mississauga today after calling to inquire why it was taking so long (the page said they were processing applications after the date mine arrived there) and they said they'd inquire as to why I hadn't gotten a notification yet.
Today I got one but it just says my application arrived on the 27th of Jan and in short, to wait for my SA before contacting them. Why didn't I get a File number or Client id?

That's where I got mine . . . in the SA letter. Perhaps that's why they suggest waiting until you receive that one.

If it's not an automated email generated by their system, then it's not what's usually called AOR, but only a confirmation someone sent after your enquiry.

Not everyone gets an AOR and the lack of one is not something you should be worried about. Your file number will be in the SA email, for sure.
