First Name(s)

Another random question - I assume when it says First Name(s) it is asking for first and middle name. Which I filled in for all of my information. I forgot to put in my wife's middle name, however, and it's a locked field now; if I want to edit it, I have to refind out if I'm elligible for express entry. If I submit with just her first name, and all her documents have her middle name, can I just write an LOE explaining the situation?

If you haven't submitted the application, you can edit the name(s) and add a LOE while submitting the application.
I had the same issue, during profile creation didn't enter the names correctly, and changed it once I got the ITA.

I submitted my Express Entry profile and got an ITA. Now when I try to add the middle name, the following message comes up when I try to edit:

If you want to change any information in a locked field you must return to the Application Summary page by clicking on the Save and Exit button and then click on the 'Modify Family Information' button at the top of the page


If I do that though, won't I risk my EE Profile having to be reevaluated if I touch that?

Here is my experience. My spouse doesn't have last name in her passport, after searching some forums I entered last name and first name as same while creating my express entry profile. Then I saw cic website to enter first name as 'N/A' and last name as the given names in passport. I made this change during my application, and added a letter of explanation stating the same.
CIC would re-evaluate your application before ITA and after, as long as your points will not be changed, I think it's fine.

Didn't cause any problem for me, and got my PR (Waiting for PR card).
