Fingerprinting- FBI- single or dual sets?

Hi Guys,

Quick question - When you send your fingerprints to FBI, do you have to send 2 sets of prints? or just one set? (btw, one set = one FD258 form)

form where u r getting this confusion of "2 set of print" ??

well, the agency that did fingerprinting for me gave me 2 sets and said they need two. so i got confused. but i cant see anywhr on the fbi site where it says 2.

so max, you may be right.

The requiremet is 1 but its good idea to send more than 1 because sometimes fingerprints might not be clear in one copy in that case they can check other copies if sent.
No strict and hard rule on the number of sets.
