FIngerprinting Application: "Employer and Address" box

Hi all. I'm wondering how to fill the Fingerprinting Application: "Employer and Address" box. I have seen a number of ambiguous suggestions. I'm a US citizen applying for PR, living as a visitor in Canada and not working.

What to do?

1. You may simply write "unemployed" there
2. Give your current residential address

Both hardly matter, because essentially FBI check is a lookup of your fingerprints in their criminal records. If they get a hit, they will add the records found. Else, they would send no criminal record found in their report.

What really matters is that you give them a mailing address where you will be living about 4 months from now. FBI PCC is taking around that much time these days.
