Hi all,
I applied for citizenship on January 2016. Here is my timeline
Application sent: 27 Jan 15
Application Received: 29 Jan 2015
AOR: 9 March 2015
Process started: 08 April 2015
Transfer to local office: 09 May 2015
Received a letter for fingerprints: 15 June 2015 (letter signed 11 June 2015)
Fingerprints done: 16 June 2015

I called the RCMP and they told me that my fingerprints (Hard copy) were sent to CIC on 17 Jun 2015. But I called CIC and they say that they did not receive me them yet and I will have to wait a least 3 months before they would consider my claim to verify it. I am very worried, I don`t know what to think as this would take me to a non-routine application. Also my transfer to local office line disappeared a month ago! would this mean that my application is back to Sydney.
Also, my PR expired in October since Sept 2014, I applied for a renewal and did not receive it either, they say that they need another review of my application. I am having nightmares every night with this as I can`t travel or do anything. CIC call center said that I will have to wait, there is nothing I can do. It has been more than a year now that I applied for my PR card.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

File transfer to local office disappeared for many of us in this forum, thus you don't need to worry about it.
All you need to do is to patiently wait.
By any chance did you receive your fingerprint results mailed to you? If yes, please mail it to the address mentioned on the fingerprint request letter. If it has already been forwarded by RCMP to the cic office then all you can do is to wait.
As you have got fingerprint request, it has made your application non-routine however now a days such things are processed faster.

I received fingerprints request too and in my case it was after the test I am still waiting to receive the original letter in the mail.

where did you do the fingerprints at local police/RCMP office or an agency ?
Did you submit the digital fingerprints or ink/old type?

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it. I did my digital fingerprints at a private agency they submitt them automatically to Rcmp im Ottawa. I called the RCMP and told me that my fingerprints were sent to cic within 24h in paper. My worry is that they did not even open the mail received from RCMP.

It takes time for CIC to acknowledge RCMP request. Have patience and you should be all right.

Did you contact CIC to see why you haven't received your renewed PR card yet? I think it has been a long time. usually the processing time is around 110 calendar days.

Yes i did contact cic about it. They said that they completed the process of my application but it will need a second revision. They did not provide timeline on how long it will take. No update since february i am calling them in a weekly basis, no news. Frustrating! I don t know what to do, i can t travel to visit my parents and family. Its really tough!

Did you apply for citizenship on January 2016 ???

And you had 2 kids on February 2022?
