Hello another question here last one I promise, I may add you have all been really helpful.

It's about finger prints can I get these in canada while applying inland? just the cost it may be cheaper.

I have also come to the conclusion that it may be better to actually apply outland, but can I apply outland while actually living in Canada as a visitor?

You should definitely apply Outland via London, there are NO advantages to you applying Inland. Yes, you could get an Open Work Permit, in probably MORE time than it would take you to become a full PR via London. You absolutely do NOT have to leave Canada in order to apply via London.

You can have your fingerprints taken in Canada, yes, and sent to wherever they need to be sent. There are a number of places it can be done, hopefully another ex-pat will chime in on where they had theirs done.

Ah that's great, that I can have them done in Canada I assume it will be much cheaper, if I get them here in the UK I have to travel to london and since I don't drive it's a hassle..

So this makes things simpler for us, thank you Charlie, so pretty much all I need to get while here in the UK is my police certificate, that's great.

RCMP does them in some places. Private services in others. In you're in Calgary, I can tell you where I went. I'm a US citizen and they had the correct forms and paperwork already in the office. I only had to bring my ID. (3 pieces, they needed 2.)

You can also Google search it, which is how I found the place I went to.
