Hi Shweta,
Rightly said, its good to come to Canada if you are young as that's when you are "Raw" and you can mould yourself easily. At this age you will not be earning that good in India (my assumption) as this is the age when you start working whereas if you come to Canada you comparatively earn more (especially if we convert $ into Rs, as that what we Indians do) even by doing odd jobs. The older you get the difficult it is to mould yourself as you need to start from scratch most of the time out here.
Also if you are well settled back in India that doesn't gaurantee you a bright future from the day you land here. From this forum you can easily gauge the fact that even doctors and engineers are working in factories and warehouses, driving trucks in order to make a living. I myself have seen a few instances of the same out here. All in all if you are settled in India and you come out here after getting the PR, be ready to slug it out. There are chances that you might get lucky, however the odds are generally against us.
I am from the BPO/Call Centre domain though I have done my MBA from Sydney (Australia). However my studies haven't helped me in any context yet. Physiotherapy might have a lot to offer but as suggested earlier take a few months off and see for yourself if things will work out here or not. Don't leave your professions alltogether b4 u come here. You might even have to study to get a good job as apart from Call Centres I believe everything else in general requires u to get a license first b4 u can start working.
At the end, you will get different suggestions from different set of individuals, all i can say is take a couple months off and check Canada for yourself. I am a Delhite and i presume India has a lot to offer as well, at the end if i compare i am just earning more than double as to what i was earning back in India. You don't get appraisals the way you get in India (15 - 20%), Fixed Deposits rates are maximum 2% in Canada, but then there are positives things as well like Child tax benefits, medical benefits, study based loans etc.
Finally u need to take a call, c what best suits you, and if you have children then think from there perspective as well. Best of luck.
Regards
Sanjeev
