Hi friends! My partner (Canadian citizen) has roughly $20,000 income yearly. We afraid of that would cause a rejection of our application. However, we can show convincing amount of money in the bank. Do you think we have a chance to compensate like that? We haven't finish our application yet. Want to ask here first to see were there anybody in our situation before. Thanks in advance!

As long as she is not on social assistance, you should be fine.

Would say you need to show how you will support yourselves because living in 20k is essentially not possible especially for a couple without depending on charity or social services. It is relatively rare but we have seen PFLs if there is concern how a couple will be able to afford life in Canada.
