Sorry for the probably dumb questions but I really have troubles completing the financial evaluation form for sponsoring parents (I know it is not yet updated – but I want to get ready):
I was in a common law relation in 2013, 2014, 2015 and now in 2016 we are not anymore. So technically the size of my part is me, my daughter, and my parents that I want to sponsor = 4. She is not anymore my common law, but this is only starting 2016.
1) Q8 asks the minimum necessary income to sponsor. If I look in the federal Table I find different minimum incomes for all years so which one do I out here? Also for what size of the family? Should I consider 4 or 5, as we were 5 in 2013 and 2014 and even 2015. I guess the answer should be 4, but then which is the minimum income necessary? In the table is given for each of these years, do I take the max?
2) In Q15 the Gross income means line 150 from the NOA?
3) Also in Q15, there is a column with family size, what is that in my case? Now I am 4, as I told you but in 2013, 2014 and 2015 I was 5. What should I put?
4) Q16 the hard one: In NOA in each year I have line 150 so this is clear. But I cannot see anywhere a specific line with respect to the following lines asked in the form:
b. Provinical allowance for an instruction or training program
c. Social assistance from a province
d. Financial assistance from the Government ....
e. Amounts paid to you under the the EIA other then special benefits
f. Monthly quaranteed income supplemental
I have no freaking idea what these are. I do have a job, I pay taxes and did not receive (at least to my knowledge) any of the above. I am not sure what part e. means. I was in a parental leave in 2014, so I guess I received some money but are these included in Line 150? I cannot find any of these in my NOA, are there any specific lines in NOA that I have to look at?
