Final Decision Text Under MYCIC Account - Important For You All

Hey Guys, as you might have noticed that CIC updated the way it is reflecting information under MYCIC account.

But, did you notice the message change under Final Decision Box?

On final decision box the text itself in it says "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

But when I click on question mark beside that box, I see below message.

"We have reached a final decision on your application.
If your application is approved, we will send you instructions on what to do next.
These instructions will be sent to your account.
If your application is refused, we will send you the reason(s) for the refusal."

This is pretty confusing, I wonder what you all are seeing when you click on that question mark?

Its funny, 9 people have seen it and none of them have courtesy to reply what they are seeing.

I don't know why background check says not applicable in my case. I have seen just one other person with situation as mine.

I don't know why background check says not applicable in my case. I have seen just one other person with situation as mine.

Mine background check says

Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check.

And in the help section:

Final decision: in the question mark says the same as you see

When comes to not applicable I think your background check might be completed by the vo

There was no real change there. They just changed the wordings, so that it sounds nicer.

So now
On final decision box the text itself in it says "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

This means - Not Started

How to understand:

If something is in progress - it means Not Started.

If something is processing, reviewing or other -ings activities - it means In Progress

If comething was received (application) - it means Opened.

And Not applicable or other Not required senteces are simply - Not Needed

Passed is Passed (for medicals for example).
