hello pips,
Normal ba yun?
Regards,
horace1845

don't worry. it's normal. e-cas is being migrated to a new system which is probably the reason why this happens. mas important yung actual status. you may want to check this Canada Immigration for other relative information.

we could only guess how the reviewing officer will take that but i think the most relevant contract would be the one that pertains to the work that you are claiming for FSW and the most recent employment. In my case, I was not able to provide employment contract for my first job as my first job was a family owned company and no formalities were made. I just didn't include that work in my list in the application .. the work actually was not relevant as well to the NOC I applied under.

hi guys! I passed my application last july 1, 2011 but I did not include employment contract. I only included certificate of employment. Is it ok? :(

Hello ehdgar, yap we're done with medicals last july 5 at Nationwide and also with the RPRF. Where do you plan to have your medical? :) :) :)

Hi Mitz,

My wife had her medical exam today. I will be doing my exam together with our children next week. We chose Nationwide dahil mas ok daw don. Hope everything will work out well for all of us here! Goodluck and God bless to us!

Hi, would like to know if you still need employment contract if you already have certificate of employment from the company?

Thanks!

In my case, I only provided a COE signed by the HR Operations Head with dry seal. I was a regular employee before pero may contract din kami, parang confirmation ng pagiging regular employee. Eh yung contract ko, dated 8 years ago pa, when I became a regular employee.

Don't be so sure that they grant you 22 points for your "double degree". I myself has 2 degrees (BsMath & Nursing) & Masters but I am only counting it as 20 points. Remember, primary & secondary education in Canada is 12 years vs. 10 years in the Philippines. Submitting your latest TOR is non-issue kasi yong 1st degree mo nandun na lahat sa latest TOR mo. HTH.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06-eng.pdf

Manual: "Medical doctor degrees are generally first-level university credentials, in the same way that a
Bachelor of Law or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology is a first level, albeit “professional” degree
and should be awarded 20 points. If it is a second-level degree and if, for example, it belongs to a
Faculty of Graduate Studies, 25 points may be awarded. If a bachelor's credential is a prerequisite to
the credential, but the credential itself is still considered a first-level degree, then 22 points would be
appropriate. It is important to refer to how the local authority responsible for educational institutions
recognizes the credential
: i.e., as a first-level or second-level or higher university credential".

"12.2. Education
For definition of terms, see Section 6.3.
Officers should assess programs of study and award points based on the standards that exist in
the country of study. The Regulations do not provide for comparisons to Canadian educational
standards.......
