hi hermione and welcome!

i don't think u should be worried because there's a clause in the PPR that they will try to return pp's within 90 days from their receipt. ur waiting period is barely halfway though some were able to have their pp's back in less than a month.

just always pray for patience..keep the faith...enjoy the XMAS season Philippine style. the next years will surely be a lot different!

hi mimi,

thanks a lot for your warm welcome..actually..i'm just worried because they might not have received our passport because they did not send any acknowledgment receipt unlike before..and in our ppr letter it stated 20-30 working days of receipt..thanks for your advices especially the Bible verses..we surely need that especially in times like this..It's really stressful waiting for our visas and really need person like you to strengthen our faith and patience.. now I was relieved..God bless you..

hi there, its been a while...musta sa mga people dito...

congrats kay sharonjoyd...i already added you sa FB pa check na lang.

mag 4 months na kami dito sa Vancouver and its cold, i suggest sa mga pupunta dito ng winter konti lang bilihin nyo dyan mas effective yung available dito na clothes for winter and mas maraming choices....

for nurses, try to process your docs sa organization or province na target nyo para pag dating nyo dito may focus na di tulad ko di ko inayos when i was there kaya eto nagkkumahog.

sa mga dati kong kasabay dito hi there....goodluck to all and God bless....

@summer1979 what is the visa of your husband? (working or temporary visa) as what i have known for working visa, it will not be affected eventhough it will be expired just make a copy of all your husband's docs to send also to CEM, and about the POF, you need only the bank certificates because you only use manager's cheque for payments on fees of CEM...hope this would help....

hey congrats...welcome malamig this winter prepare ka lang.anyway, CRNBC here is the website for CRNBC www.crnbc.ca......download mo form for internationally educated nurses then yung if you have plenty of time or you have taken the acadmeic module then pwede ka na start submitting docs the required score is speaking is 7 and no score lower than 6 yun lang. medyo mahaba process ehyou need to go back to your school, employer and PRC to ask for docs to be submitted directly to them...lahat yan di ko ginawa dyan ewan ko ba talaga sa sarili ko...siguro kasi nakafocus ako sa pag alis maybe ayoko na mastress kasi stressful towait ang mga dilemma ng aalis...lol!pag nagawa mo lahat ng yan they will evaluate you kung for bridging ka or pwede ka na take RN Exam so medyo time consuming.kung magagawa mo naman eh go ka na.....

one thing is definite we cannot practice nursing here...kahit OR tech may diploma.

you mean mag bridging ka na?madami din kaya lang yung best school may mga waiting period it can take like months to two years here in vancouver di ko sure sa burnaby and surrey.curious lang ako, you may or may not answer may ? anung ground nila for you at mag pre course you?thanks...

Hi Hailo,
It's nice to hear from you again..... :D :D I heard almost all jobs nga daw needs a license or certificate even health care aide ( nursing assistant). So are you working now? Ako nga din for SEC Assesment prior to CRNE the same with Khai. Parang ayoko na ding mag apply sa ibang province kasi baka ganun din yung result, sayang lang pera ko.

Is true that its hard to get a job in BC even if you are already an RN?

hi hailo, been in toronto for 1.5 months now.. and been concentrating in answering equivalency table from CNO, sana nga sa pinas pa lang sinagutan ko na para nakahingi ng help sa fellow nurses.. dito kasi books from library ang source of info; walang mapagtanungan... strongly advise na ayusin na agad requirements kasi dahil pag andito na ang focus ay makahanap ng survival jobs while waiting for assessments.

thanks gandasia,

it is so true talaga na need mo to be certified or licensed kahit cleaner lang.here is the things nga lang if you could find some "network" pwede rin ka makawork to some jobs kahit di ka certified, that is based dun sa mga nakakausap ko dito.actually may nag offer din sa kin to help me sa nursing home however i declined kasi nga ang advise naman ng ate ko once na nagwork ka na at di ko inayos ang CRNBC baka mawalan ako ng time to upgrade kasi nga am working and there are bills to pay, alam nyo yun.mawala na rin time mo to review kasi full time ka na work tapos may household ka pa na intindihin. so naisip ko to take time my time the past few months and then tinulungan ko muna maging stable yung sched ng anak ko sa school pati yung work na hubby ko.when everything was ok na i took the IELTS acad module.it so happen naman na an opportunity na dumating for a part time first apply first interview first job in Canada.....

kaya di ko masagot kung mahirap humanap ng work...kasi i was looking for a job that would fit in sa sched ng family ko at ng need ko.ang secret ko NAGDASAL lang talaga ko.....RN i was told that there are waiting period for some...pero eto maganda mag gain ka muna daw Canadian Work Experience (sabi nila ha kahit anu kahit survival job lang)...minsan acceptable na...di concrete sagot ko sa yo kasi di ko na experience pero yung kwento ko based on mine....assess mo na lang...

i hope this helps...
