Hi po sa lahat just a new member in this forum.
Wanna know if someone here applied under FSW category 2 (with arranged employment)
In my case po ksi Im currently working in WP NOC 6125(cleaning supervisor) for 6 months now and my employer offered me permanent job, do I need to wait to have atleast 1 year work experience in this field before I submit my application for PR? I had a part time job before while in school back in Phil. for 2 years (NOC 5122) but waiting for my letter of employment from that school as a proof na issama q po s pagsubmit ng application. At hindi po aq sure if that 2 years work experience is enough to equivalent a 1 year full time job sa work experience requirement na may 37.5 hrs/week or total of atleast 1950 hrs paid work experience that falls under NOC's level O,A or B.
Is a work experience stated sa CIC website under FSW required also in Category 2 or is that only for Category 1?
Im not sure kc if should I apply now or wait for 6 more months before submitting my PR application although im economically established here in Canada. And is it true po b n mas mbilis ang processing ng FSW under Category 2?
Please seniors hope u can help me. Thank u po ng marami.

just make an explanation letter detailing the circumstances so u wont be misconstrued as trying to withhold pertinent facts of ur application. better yet, execute an affidavit related thereto. its much stronger as it is a sworn statement. just clearly indicate what u have previously declared in ur initial apps and the corresponding corrected info. u can say it's due to lapse in memory :D. afterall, its part of graceful ageing ;D ;D ;D

I agree with mimi. We are just human and we are susceptible to human errors. In my case, nagkamali din ako sa employment data. Sa application form to NS, nilagay ko June 2003 but when nagsubmit na ako ng full docs, yung supporting document ko July 2003 pala dapat. So I just included it among the list sa letter explaining the discrepancies between the application forms to NS vs VO. Wala naman silang question dun. :)

based sa sinabi m eh mas ok ung FSW 2 kasi mas sure un although mas matagal ng kaunti kasi malamang sa Buffalo ung file m mapupunta kasi dun ung malapit sa canada although pwede m rin ung manila visa office ung ilagay mo.

ung Category 2 eh kahit anong work (kahit wla sa category 1 na NOC) basta willing ung employer m na gumawa ng mga requirements like LMO etc.

kung category 1 tpos ung part-time job eh for sure mahirap iprove ung 37.5 hrs per week. not unless naka specify dun ung work hours m sa Certificate of employment. ska usually kung part-time eh may days/hours lang un at di specified sa ibang work dito sa pinas.

hope this helps

Just to give sharing from experience to those who would be doing their medicals.
We just had our medicals with Nationwide here in Makati last October 26.

Share ko lang mga tips para di masyado hassle sa inyo:

- If possible come on a Wednesday or Thursday. Start of the week is usually busy....especially if it came from a long weekend/holiday (just like us). Inabot kami whole day waiting
- Do not bring extra companion when going there..they would not be allowed inside
- If you have major operations/diagnosis/conditions before and you plan to disclose them, it is best to secure medical certificate from your doctor before going for medical. Para di na kayo babalik pa. The medical certificate should contain the following information:

1) Complete details of the current clinical status of the applicant
2) The history of onset, treatment, progression, and complication of the disease
3) Copies of reports of any relevant investigation necessary to determine the etiology, specific diagnosis stage or remission of the disease
4) The current treatment plan
5) The specialist's opinion on the prognosis of the condition and the individual's future treatment / management requirement
6) No reference regarding medical admissibility to Canada
7) Embassy requires TYPEWRITTEN reports
8) Reports lacking the pertinent details listed above will cause delay or a referral to an embassy-accredited specialist
9) The immigration medical officer of the country concerned may still request for additional information or investigation

- For those with kids, bring coloring books or any other activities they could do seated

For now eto lang po muna...

Hope this helps

Thanks for the info, i'm waiting for my med request right now & the info is a great help.

Hi, Rich!

We also have the same experience with CIIP. We sent an email with our documents as registration for the seminar. They said to us that November sched is full. Still waiting for the next sched hopefully this December. Kelan natapos medical mo? Were still waiting for further notice. Natapos medical nmin ng wife ko last October 04 but submitted sa embassy on Oct 13, & 19 according from Nationwide.

hello po. can i ask for details regarding your assessment in norquest? did they ask you to take additional subjects??? i was thinking originally to apply in Alberta but since theirs is so complicated I opted to apply in Saskatchewan... Is their processing expensive? pls share your experience thanks

i sent my cno registration forms, RN category, while waiting for my mr kc hinabol ko yung old rates(registration fees increased last sept 1), it was a gamble actually. assessment varies to each applicant because they consider education and experience. i believe in my case i will be required to have bridging program but will be considered to take the rpn exam.okay na din sa akin ang rpn because the hourly rate is higher than minimum wage.
hopefully by january meron na result yung assessment ko kc march sna kme mgland and march din ang deadline ng application for july rpn exam.
with regards to your case, you do your research kung pwede pa ang magapply if you are outside canada because e.g. manitoba yata requires pr card and some other provinces. i do not have knowledge on carna but it would be a great idea to apply even before you land kc assessment takes months. goodluck!
