Don’t lie in your Canada immigration application
Canada, 26th October: Do you know that any lie in your Canada immigration application can put a question mark on your chances of immigration?

While providing detailed information in your application for Canada immigration, you must provide a true and authentic detail of various facts about yourself. Giving any false information can hinder not only yours but also the chances of your family members seeking immigration to Canada.

Why should you abstain from providing false information in your Canada visa application---

• Giving untrue information in your application is regarded a legal crime under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act;

• It renders you ineligible to immigrate to Canada either for studying in Canada, working in Canada, going to Canada on a Canada visitor visa or seeking permanent immigration to Canada;

• It reduces the chances of your family members for Canada immigration;

• It shows your disrespect towards rules of laws and makes you suspicious in the eyes of the Canada immigration officials regarding the disrespect you might show towards Canadian laws after your immigration to Canada.

• Immigration fraud is considered to be a big threat to the security and integrity of the immigration system of Canada and anyone caught to be misrepresenting the facts is likely to be denied any chance to immigrate to Canada.

• The introduction of ‘The Cracking Down on Crooked Consultants Act’ on June 8, 2010 is another proof of the fact that anyone found to be involved in fraud either directly or under the influence of any crooked immigration consultants to gain Canada citizenship or Canada visa will not be spared by Canada immigration department.

• The government of Canada has introduced several measures to ensure that immigration consultation services in Canada are provided only by notaries, lawyers or registered members of CSIC (Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants).

• Anyone giving false information about persecution for making refugee claims is likely to face severe punishment as per the Canada immigration laws.

Remember, honesty is, undoubtedly, the best policy if you want to successfully immigrate to Canada and even a small lie might make you pay a heavy price for your mistake.

Hello all!

Meron po kami inquiry regarding repeat medicals and referral to specialists. My hubby had a repeat x-ray last Oct12 and to date ay wala pa info from nationwide kung ano next process. What should we expect?

Meron nakita very small spot sa lungs nya though he never had any lung disease. Sa mga nakaexperience na marefer sa specialists, ano po mga naging procedures and how did this affect your application?

Should we inform the CEM about this scenario?

Thanks in advance and God bless.

Hi Abilex, you might want to follow up your husband's medical status at 810-9381 or 888-5086, mababait naman sila dun. Kung wala pa silang update sa iyo or wala pa kayong text na na-receive from them then be happy! :D That means no further tests required and possibly under final review na ng DMP. Ngayon kung may referral kayo sa pulmonologist then sabi nila it would take around 5-6 months na tests (that's what nationwide said).

congrats sa lahat ng mga naka-receive na ng PPR. Kakatuwa, bilis ng mga movements ngayon.. actually waiting for PPR na rin kami.. i think ise-send na lang ng Nationwide yung meds ko this week.

nagrepeat x-ray sya and til now ay ala pa referral to see a specialist.

its good na wala pang referral kayong na-receive. chances are, satisfied na yung DMP sa radiology report or baka naman nai-send na yung med docs niya sa CEM.

tau pla ang mgkakatimeline! sna nga mgppr na tau this november!pra mkaresign na ko sa work ko this december!we plan to land by march, jan-feb driving lessons, secure ng mga docs and prepare for the immigration. hay we can only make plans pero ang plan pa rin ni GOD ang masusunod !good luck to everyone! ;)
Hey m2canada, sana nga ! ako din March ang plan ko mag land, pero I think I'll resign by Jan - Feb. We'll be needing all the cash we can get. I just called nationwide, in-process pa daw mga meds namin. She said I should try calling by Saturday to follow up. Yung sayo ba napasa na sa VO? waiting for ppr ;D ;D ;D ;D

I agree with carlowest,,if ur husband had the rpt x-ray last oct.12 pa and untill now ala pa kayong narerecievd na call for further instructions from nationwide, that could propably mean na ok na yung result and for all you know,, baka naisend na yun sa CEM..try to contact nalang po nationwide either by calling them or thru email,,mabilis naman po sila sumagot

hi jigjig!
yung medical results ni hubby and baby were sent to cem Oct 18 and 15 respectively. nag repeat xray ako last oct 15 and until now wla pa ding info coming from nationwide.i emailed them but still no reply. i tried to call them pero ang sabi still in process...hay im just hoping that everything is okay...
few months back, i thought november may visa na ko. but problems came in the way which caused delays. it was smooth sailing until i received my first mr/rprf without the medical forms last sept 4 because they requested for pictures. then itong medical ko nmn. there are times that i really feel exhausted on this application process but i just hang on kc i know god has better plans...at the end of the line we will all get what we deserve!good luck! ;)

Immigrants in Canada boost innovation

Canada, 25th October: Immigrants in Canada are giving a big boost to innovation in the country and playing a crucial role in improving the global competitiveness of Canada.

This has been revealed by the findings of a latest report by CBC (Conference Board of Canada) titled ‘Immigrants as Investors: Boosting Canada’s Global Competitiveness’.

The report tested the view that immigrants tend to be highly innovative and found that immigrants in Canada were, indeed, associated with higher innovation in Canada at all levels including individual, national, organization and global.

The findings of the report maintain that although the percentage of immigrants comprise just one-fifth of Canada’s total population, but still, the percentage of immigrants in Canada Research Chairs is 35 percent.

It further suggested that it’s the immigrants in Canada that won higher number of highly prestigious performing arts and literary awards including the Governor-General’s Performing Arts Awards and the Giller Prize.

And immigration significantly affects and improves trade relations of Canada with the nations of immigrants’ origin. An increase of one-percentage-point increase in the number of immigrants results in 0.21 percent increase in the value of imports in Canada and also results in 0.11 percent increase in the value of exports.

No wonder, countries regarded to be major sources of immigration to Canada make greater foreign direct investment into the nation than other nations, the report asserts.

Although, there might be a few shortcomings of multiculturalism, there is no denying the fact that immigrants in Canada are playing a significant role in the making worthy contributions to the nation’s society.

And despite such important contributions by immigrants in Canada, they continue to encounter numerous obstacles in the way of their successful integration in Canada.

Some of the problems faced by immigrants in Canada include delays in getting recognition of their foreign credentials, inadequate opportunities for newcomers in making use of their skills, and failure of employers in Canada to use foreign language skills of immigrants.

The report gives a piece of advice to the employers in Canada asking them to hire immigrants at all organizational levels and invite them to share their valued suggestions.

It also asserts on improving the living conditions of all Canadians including immigrants
