congrats to all who were granted with their visas, and those upcoming grantees. thanks for all the help and support you have shared with us in this forum, it's really a big help to everyone. good luck & all blessings to all of you. I'm still waiting for my medical request, for those who had their medical exams in makati, can we ask for some sharing of your experiences and requirements?

hello betsy. we had our medical exam at Nationwide Makati last june and it was very smooth. one of the requirements of course is the Medical request from the Visa office. You have to bring it, pictures- recent pictures at least 4. you have to be there early because of the volume of those who will have their medical exams. they will give you a form that you need to fill-out( around 5-6pages). once done, they will give you the number. what are the type of exams- blood extraction, urinalysis, xray and Physicall exam. That's about it in 30-60 mins . you will have to wait in 2-3 weeks. if they will not contact you for another test, then its ok. they will forward your results to the Visa office within 2-3 weeks. PPR will be in around 57days thru email( per our experience)... and then another 59 days to wait for your visa( again, based on our experience)..

hi guys.. count me in sa group na natitira pa dito sa pinas at nag-aantay ng visa. been busy sa work kaya bihira rin nakaka-visit. actually, intentional na nagpapaka-busy ako to shift my mind from waiting for embassy updates. ha ha!

to those who will undergo medical exams at Nationwide, so far so good naman sila. We had ours last Sept 25 and undergone the same routine as what albert_alo posted. Medyo made-delay lang kami ng 2 weeks before we complete our med exams dahil sa aming 2 yr old son. Dahil hindi pa nga siya nakakapagsalita, he was referred to a developmental pediatrician. Kailangan daw makasigurado na hindi siya MUTE. So ayun, search search kami ng devt pedia and mabuti nalang meron pinakamaagang appointment last Sept 30 sa Manila Doctors.. ok naman daw within normal range naman son ko talaga nga lang mabagal ang speech development. Kaya ngayon antay kami ng report ng pedia tapos we will submit it pa sa Nationwide.

btw, sa Nationwide Makati pala may rectal exam

anyway, congrats sa lahat ng nakakuha ng visa!!!!!

Lola_basyang -- all that for 5k? pero xempre that will come after the assessment dba? mabilis ba sa vancouver? you know, things like this makes me go "waahh!" hirap magdecide for the future.. one wrong move and you can suffer for a long time. good evening, baka naman pwede ring pa share ng experience, insights ninyo sa nationwide sa makati. At yung mga advices po. Para makapaghanda rin tulad po ninyo. Konti na lang tao naiwan dito, marami nang nag raduate na seniors. sila abilex, albert_alo, imbubbbles atbp. Ganun pa man, lets keep our faith also.na darating din ang mga hinihintay natin.

My wife had the same case as yours, but wala tayong dapat ikatakot, especially if its healed.And lagi mo lang alagaan ang sarili mo, para di bumaba ang resistensya. Naku lagi ko rin sinasabi yan sa misis ko. Exercise, diet, at wag mag pa stress. So sana you adhere din to healthy lifestyle, dahil yun lang ang proteksyon natin para di maulit yun. lets keep in touch.

i had my med exam done at nationwide davao. but IMO, nationwide compared with the rest is more accommodating and more lenient. i could compare my experience with others kasi. tska pinakamura din singil d2 ng nationwide compared with other DMP in the locality at P4K per adult + 100 courier.

so i think kahit jan ka sa nationwide makati, ok pa rin. pero if u want, pasyal ka d2 sa davao b4 ka alis puntang canada, hehe. maybe this is ur chance kng di ka pa nkkpunta dito.

hi imbubbles.. yah we are super busy and stress out na.. kaka stress mag pack ng mga things to bring...halos buong bahay na ata dadalhin namin. para wala na masyadong bibilhin pagdating dun.. tipid2..hahaha. joke..eto dumaan lng me. break time kc nagtatalo na kaming mag-aswa on what to bring and what not to bring.. hahahaha


tuloy na kami sa nov. 12. we were able to get a ticket for only $750/ person+1620 for the travel tax.. the said rate is for cathay pacific. from manila to hongkong then hongkong to toronto..to those who are planning to get their tickets, just pm me para i will give you the name of the travel agency and their contact numbers. imagine.. from 758 to 750.. natawaran namin thru the help of our connections.. hahaha. i am sure if you are planning your trip next year then maybe mas cheaper ang rate siguro...

congrats to those who were granted a visa...sana kaming mga hopefuls mabiyayaan din. sa tulad kong newbie medyo confused pa po when it comes to filling out forms lalu na sa Personal Assets, Liabilities and Networth. Tanong ko po, anong pong ma-advise nyong basis ng currency coverter na gamitin ko yung ibibigay ng bank na exchange rate (buying/selling) or yung nasa newspaper (forex rate)? Dpat po ba yung conservative para mas malaki ang assets or POF ko? dapat po bang mag-attach ako ng isang document as basis of the currency conversion? Sana po may sumagot... Thanks!
