Oo sa California din ako nag-aral. Graduated January 2007 from American Career College, L.A. to be specific. Wow magandang balita yun!

upp942: When the time comes na ready k n magparegister. Check m both kung saan mas mabilis o makakamura. As far as I remember, mas mura initial registration sa Alberta but yearly renewal is more expensive then sa b.c. mas mahal ang initial tapos mas mura ang yearly. Hope this info helps. Saan k dito sa L.A.? I live in Buena Park.

Mga approximately 20 miles north from L.A.

Hi All,

Just got my first AOR from CIO and I'm currently gathering the necessary docs for submission to Manila Visa Office.
However, it seems that the Visa Office Specific Instructions (Manila) for Skilled Workers have been updated in June 2010 (not sure though, just saw IMM 7025 E (06-2010) in the bottom part of the form that I've just downloaded). Should I follow this updated one already, even though I have submitted my initial application to CIO Nova Scotia on March 2010 and received by them in March 2010 also??

Because, I've noticed there have been differences in the requirements such as for example:
a) For Transcripts under Education/Training/Qualification:
> per IMM 7025 E (10-2009) I've downloaded before: Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university-sealed envelopes.
> But as per IMM 7025 E (06-2010) I've just downloaded now: Transcripts: certified true copies of transcripts of all degrees.

b) For Identity and Civil Status Documents:
> per IMM 7025 E (10-2009) I've downloaded before: It is clearly stated that CENOMAR must be provided in all cases.
> but as per IMM 7025 E (06-2010) I've just downloaded now: I can't see any note that a CENOMAR should be submitted.

I am single and I am not sure whether I should still submit a CENOMAR.

I just want to be sure that I'll be submitting complete and correct docs to the Manila Visa Office.

Appreciate your assistance regarding this.

Thanks in advance.

God Bless to All! :-)
asking also for the same question.. will send documents by next week.. wish us luck guys.. thanks..

Hello po mga kababayan... im louie de leon and is currently thinking of applying for a PR under FSW migration program. Nag work po ako before sa Canada for 5months July - Dec 09. Umuwi ako last Feb as my contract ended. I am under the Pilot program of Canada Telecommunications Software Designer. Graduated with BS Electronics and Communications Engineering po last 2004 sa Mapua Institute of Technology. I took the IELTS exam po last May under General Category.

question lang po sa mga nurses dito...

2. and, is it necessary na piliin mo yung province where your close relatives live?

salamat po!!!

No relation whatsoever, immigration is based doon sa kung illegible ka o hindi, may kapasidad ka o wala sa POF, at lahat ng requirements ma isubmit mo compltetely on time

2. and, is it necessary na piliin mo yung province where your close relatives live?

Walang relation po, kahit saan po pede ka magLand or tumira (puera Quebec ha kasi specific doon apply mo), even if you take some points po for having a relative doon, kasi ung proof of funds mo complete eh, if yong relative natin eh not doing well financially sa canada, like filed for bankruptcy or nasa list ng state dependent kasi walang work, mas mabuti pang di na i declare, mas nakaka reject po un

salamat po!!!

Hope to be of helped. ;D

i'd like to know whether it is ok to declare your family members (spouse and children) in your application and indicate that neither your spouse nor your kids will accompany the principal applicant in Canada, then, later after the medicals and before the interview the principal applicant will declare that they would be accompanying him/her in canada. medyo mahal kasi ang application fee if we include or initially declare that they will accompany the principal applicant. So if principal applicant lang muna , 550 lang ang fee, di ba mas practical yon? am i right? pls. help...

Hi,psychnars,
Ganito ginawa namin ng wife ko,pag lodge namin ng application lahat kami together with my 4 sons then after pag request ng full documents ng CIO nag filed kami ng affidavit and letter of not accompanying ang mga bata, kasi nga malaki ang seatlement fund, ayos naman nag refund ang CIO sa share ng 4 na anak ko,. waiting nalang kami sa Passport request.

@psychnars - that is possible however, in the long run if you declare that they will be accompanying you, you will have to undergo again the review of all the dependents. and it might ever delay more your application

Hi louie,
Perfect IELTS mo pare, you can get the maximum 16 points at yan ang pinakaimportante, but check mo muna skill mo sa NOC kung nakasama ba sa 29.
goodluck ;D

Hi Louie. Welcome sa forum. Please check this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

Makakatulong yan to assess yourself kung makaka 67 points ka. Ang primary concern ay kung kasama profession mo sa new list of 29 occupations eligible for processing (replaced the 38 ministerial occupations post Nov 2008). The list is given here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list.

Just in case hindi kasama, try finding an employer... may Canadian experience ka naman kamo, so baka pwede mo na yun stepping stone para makakuha ng arranged employment.

Ang IELTS mo, magagamit mo yan. Validity nyan ay one year. Based on your scores, you'll get 16points for language proficiency.

Goodluck and God bless.
