Hello people! I am new to this page. I received my file # last April 12. I got married last June so I can bring my husband with me. Right now I am waiting for my new passport which is arriving tomorrow. I had to change my family name kasi. Our marriage contract has just been electronically filed with NSO so hopefully makukuha ko ang NSO marriage contract within this week.

Here are some of my questions which I hope someone can enlighten me:

1. Is it okay that I have 4 bank accounts? 1 is my ATM payroll account with Metrobank, 1 is my ATM savings with the same bank, 1 passbook account with PNB (opened last October 2009 per instruction of my agency) and the last one is a joint account with my husband opened this June 2010. as long as it is enough for the amount required for both of you

2. One of my previous employers do not have a dry seal. Is it okay to submit a certificate of employment without a dry seal? I think the company only has the rubber stamp. Huhu.almost all company here in the middles east only have stamp seal, mine is also blue ink stamp only ;D

3. For discrepancies that require affidavits, is it acceptable that I only make 1 affidavit for everything? Like when I explain that I applied as single but got married last June, why my husband can only produce a certification that he is a BSN graduate but can't produce the TOR since CHED has not released their Special Order # yet. This I am not sure, better to call VO manila for this

4. As proof of relationship with my sister who is a permanent resident of Canada, I only have her NSO birth certificate and a certified true copy of her permanent resident card. Will that suffice? I have read somewhere in this forum that they made a family tree like illustration because you change you name already right?

These are my questions for now. Please help....anybody. My agency is not that helpful that's why I need to ask around.

Congratulations to those who have made it. Sana kami rin. Hehe. God bless everyone!

Ito ung guides:

PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP IN CANADA (IF APPLICABLE)
•Proof of relationship to your close relative in Canada, such as birth, marriage or adoption certificates.
•If your close relative is a permanent resident of Canada: photocopy of his or her Record of Landing (IMM 1000), Confirmation of Permanent Residence or Permanent Resident Card.
•If your close relative is a Canadian citizen: proof of Canadian citizenship, such as a photocopy of pages of a Canadian passport or Canadian citizenship card.
•Proof that your relative is currently living in Canada.

sana makatulong sayo to...God bless sa atin...

regards ;D

2nd AOR is just simply: When VO is requesting for further documents like Police clearance from Saudi or other country you had been, CHC sometimes combines that with medical request (wow). Tell me what is in your 2nd AOR when you get it. ;)... I still have to get mine also...

CEMAR po yung binigay ng NSO...

Me nag-advise nga po sa amin, isang immigrant consultant, ang sinasabi nya, accepted daw po, yung he is previously married but not legally separated and at present is in a common-law partnership.

Thanks!

aside sa common path na CLP sa application for FSW ay may isa pa na hindi masyadong common...yun ay declaration of a conjugal partner...

You can sponsor a person as a conjugal partner(1) if
•that person is of the opposite or same sex,
•that person is residing outside Canada (that is, has, for legal purposes, a fixed, permanent and principal home outside Canada), and
•you have maintained a conjugal relationship with that person for at least one year, that is you have been in a committed and mutually interdependent relationship of some permanence where you have combined your affairs to the extent possible.
(1) This last category is intended for partners of Canadian sponsors who would ordinarily apply as
•common-law partners but cannot meet the definition, that is were not able to live together continuously for one year with their sponsor, or
•spouses, but marriage to their sponsor is usually not an available option to them,
usually because of marital status or sexual orientation, combined with an immigration barrier (for example, rules preventing partner and sponsor of long stays in one another's countries).
If your sponsorship is successful, your conjugal partner becomes a permanent resident of Canada but cannot exercise any rights or privileges associated with common-law status until you have cohabited for at least one year.
