darating din yang meds mo, mag-sundance tayo lahat!!!

Because of the fact that I've done meds recently, my friend suddenly opened up that he too and his wife were planning to settle in Canada under the FSW program and they are currently waiting for the medical requests. The progress of their application is going smoothly but they fear that his wife's condition may slow their application because his wife have a Thyroid problem. On his behalf, I would like to ask if having a thyroid problem can be a factor for one's application to be rejected and what should be done to not further complicate their application before they'll do medicals?

Thanks po.

that's good news but before i convey him the good news may mga documents ba kayo dinala sa medical at kailangan ba sabihin na may problem sa thyroid sa medical kasi yung wife nya medyo nakalabas na ng konti ang mata nya and it's one of the signs of having thyroid problem

thanks again

good day! mga kababayang esp. yung mga nurses, have some questions that buggin me for a while now. please help:

1. do you have an idea if reciprocity is happening in Canada like in the u.s.? im landing in ontario, but the eligibity is too much for internationally educated nurses, so i'm thinking to take the examination in Saskatchewan den apply reciprocity in ontario... is it possible?

a friend said u need to work in a particular territory for 2 years before ur able to file for reciprocity

2. my wife is pregnant and her due month is august, we had our medicals last april. is it possible na mauna ko umalis then i'll wait for 6 mos after my wife gave birth bago sila sumunod? or should my wife give birth in canada na? which means we have to pay for her CS delivery because we're not yet eligible for health benefits.

Kausapin si wifey and maybe as early as now if u want to bring her along, magplan na kayo ng ways on how to go about it.

hope someone is out there that can enlighten me... i'm a father with high hopes and will do anything to make my family live comfortably (i'm only 25, i had my first son when i was 20).. and i'm broke...so i'm researching if there can be any chance that my wife can give birth in canada with minimal expenses..

thanks so much....

Most applicants kasi na magpapamedical are afraid to disclose whatever conditions they are having sa DMP. Pero feeling ko these DMP's are trained na paaminin kung sino man ang they suspect are having medical problems

I suggest, dalhin nya lahat ng previous laboratory tests, prescription ng lahat ng meds na tinitake nya and maybe a letter galing sa doctor that so and so have been on medication so the DMP will no longer ask for additional tests .Makakasave sya ng money at time..

yup, pinakita namin sa medical officer yung medical certificate from my wife's endocrinologist, hand written nga lang yun, pero paki sabi sa friend mo, kung sa st luke's sila magpapamedical, may sariling format yung st luke's ng med certificate... ok lang yun...

thanks for the opinion! and thanks for the info about reciprocity....:)

question: we're 3 in the family, kung mauuna ko sa dependents ko na magpunta ng canada ng abt 6 months or so, kailangan ko bang dalhin yung proof of funds for the three of us or pwedeng yung pang isa lang? thanks!

Hello po,

question lang regarding sa proof of funds. Kasi may car ako dito sa USA kaso financed naman by a bank.

Then sa proof of relationship. My relatives are all Canadian citizens, citizenship card lang need ko no yung photocopy? I was wondering kasi yung iba nag papadala pa ng income tax and utility bills nila.

Thank you po.

hi bonsai,

I am getting anxious and impatient with the waiting time for the passport request so much so that I am becoming a shopaholic! I'm just too eager to get out of this country as soon as possible. Any advice?

hi nars, may thyroid problem din ako, waiting din for med req ko, i'm planning to do my medical sa cebu, friendly kasi at accomodating sila,
may mga friends na ako na tapos ng mag pa medical doon, they give you instructions on what to do beforehand you just have to tell them before you're appointment, in my case is i will bring all my lab works from here including yung tsh, t4 and t3 which are all normal naman yung sa akin, at pati rin biopsy at thyroid scan (yung sakin kasi is non colloidal etc.. etc, at hindi cancerous, enlarged lang talaga 1cm x 1cm for almost 9 yrs na yung enlarged thyroid ko). di namn siguro ma-reject yung application for thyroid.
it's syphilis and tuberculosis that will cause a problem.

hello imbubbles

last May 13, 2010 sent a follow up letter after 45th day from the date of receipt March 24,2010. See below

Please be advised that your file is currently queued for review by a visa officer. At this point, no further action is required from your end.
