Kyle,
Did CHC responded to your first and 2nd email inquiry? Anong sabi nila? I'm on the same boat as you, although medyo late lang ako nag submit ng full docs, pero ang hirap nga mag-hintay. I am planning to email my local CHC as well to inquire the status of my application maybe next week.

Good luck sa atin lahat!

@ lola bash - im so hopeful... sana hanggang two months nalang paghihintay.

@ bubbles - this is my 59th day... and april18 is exactly my 2nd month of waiting. sana nga talaga. i have saved in my draft a new email that i'll send by monday (office hours).

to GOD be the glory! ;D

sad to hear also kyle, but don't worry hindi ka nag iisa, ako din until now wala pa akong med req. ilang beses na rin ako nag email sa embassy minsan lang ako sinagot pero last week pala tinawagan ako ng embassy at i thnk isa naman yon sa additional delay sa akin ...ganito kc, last 1st week sa April nag email ako tungkol sa appointment ni hubby na pinadala together with the full docs to embassy kc lately me order na mag update ng 201 file sa work c hubby at walang notarized copy sa appointment na naiwan sa akin kaya ng try ako mag email sa embassy if I cud borrow the said doc, kaya tinawagan ako last friday ng representative at tinanong ako bakit, nag explain ako, kaya yon...sana lang me good news na next week...ang bagal talaga nila ds days...more than two months na yata yung sa akin, dahil me issues nga...

Anyway, let's hold on to the promise na ...there's time for everything...wait lang tayo, umabot ng ganito katagal d bale na basta me positive outcome naman...let's continue praying...

I checked my ECAS today, on my 2nd month - 60th day
still it's "RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE"

sino pa po dito mga kasama ko?
natapat ata tayo sa strict at mabagal na visa officer...
i asked my employers lately, wala pa naman daw sila narerecive na calls from embassy.

so what's going on?
until when will I wait.
sa monday, sana good news na reply nila sakin.

bubbles,

me nabasa ako sa FAQ na ganito:

Q12: What exactly does "in process" mean?

A12: "In process" is the status given to any application that has been received at a case processing centre or a visa office but that has not yet been finalized. Therefore, for the duration of the Application Processing Time, CAS will show the status as "in process."

Q13: Why has the status of my application not changed even though it has been a long time since I submitted it and I know that things have happened with my file?

A13: It is normal for some actions to not be reflected in CAS for many weeks due to the volume of information received at the visa offices and the case processing centres.
In many cases, an in-process file is actually waiting in a queue for initial review as applications are handled in the order they are received and on a case-by-case basis. The waiting time in this initial queue can be lengthy, depending on the standard processing times. Applications are processed according to the Application Processing Time at a given location.

In addition, other actions happening to your file are not shown on CAS (example: security checks) so it may appear as though nothing is happening to your file.

Q14: How often is the information on the Client Application Status service updated?

A14: CAS is updated on a weekly basis. Please consult the Application Processing Times for information on how long it will take to process your application.

so, kahit na hindi pa na reflect sa ecas mo na in process, posible pa rin na ginagalaw na docs mo, baka bigla na lang may med req ka tulad ni hailo kasabay pag change ng ECAS..

hi maharlika! :)

oo nga po, hirap maghintay...
i'm still hoping talaga kahit ganito ka stressful.
atleast sayo po, you are receiving calls and is asked for updates.

ako clueless bakit ganito nalang ang delay.
there's a lot of us here sa manila(VO), na bilis naman ang usad.
while me, natengga nalang for no good reason na nasasabi po sakin.

okay lang sana na sabihin need fos addtl docs.
pero wala parin po.
by monday, nakaready na letter ko, sesend ko ulit to them.
sana sana po talaga...

i never cease to pray... :)

hi kyle,

i understand how u feel. mahirap talaga maghintay.....

my boss and bank also didnt recv any verification calls from the embassy, so parang feeling ko, they have their own way of knowing if documents submitted were real. In that case, they dont bother calling. I hope your status change to IN PROCESS soon.

I was feeling the same thing. We need kasi this assurance na somehow we are on the right track and seeing our status having positive feedbacks bring a lot of relief..

The email add ur trying to use was the same add i used when i tried sending inquiries about my status, so i hope they give u positive response real soon.

When i filed my documents to local visa office through my consultants in january 2010, they said processing time now is more or less 4-6 months nalang.. sana sinusunod naman nila un...

I saw sa trackitt na may iba dito sa atin, natatagalan ang request for medicals and RPRF pero once nirequest, mabilis din ang request for passport...

I pray the same thing will happen to you.kahit medyo matagal ang medicals anf RPRF pero sabay na ang passport request.. ;D

goodluck satin lahat!!!!!

thanks char...

sana nga po. ;)

yun nga, just to find a relief...
sinasabi ko nalang sa sarili ko na kahit matagalan yung medical ko. basta later on, sabay2 na yung RPRF,MED and PPR.
hehe! ;D pampagaan lang ng nararamdaman.

as of the moment, i'm keeping myself busy.
i'm planning na mag business muna. hehe! :)

hEllo there

I just passed my application this 10th of April, now I'm gathering my documents, I want to know if the same po ba yung certificte of degree of completion and diploma?Do I need to send it both?

Also, my IELTS will be 1 year this May because I used it fo my CRNBC application. Do I need to take it again?Isn't it valid for 2 years? Anyway I already sent a copy on my initial application to NS.

help please..... ;D

As far as I know, you ielts is still valid and no need to take another exam. As PMM said, lock-in date is the date when you pass your initial application to NS. Even though we are not required to pass the ielts results in NS, but the in the IM 0008-Schedule 3 you were asked if you have taken an approved test to assess you proficiency in english or french. And if you ticked "YES" then the Visa Office will verify the date of your ielts expiration date to the date of your initial application to NS.

just a question from a friend... being a school nurse is considered a professional work experience?!?
any comment from senior RN here pls... thanks!

i'm an RN po
pero not really a senior RN...

What I can say is "YES"
that is still considered a work experience.

it is listed in all titles of 3152:Registered Nurse po.
you can check on this link ;)

thanks kyle for a quick reply.... likewise for d very informative link :)
