Hello! Kung sino po makakasagot ng question ko....
I will submit my application to NS Canada this week and my visa ofc is Manila Phil instead of Buffalo (mas mabilis daw s mnl) and Im going back to Phil this June so if approve when kaya sila mag re request ng docs like police clearance since I have to submit FBI & NBI so I need to be in Manila once they request such papers kse mag start na countdown ng 120days once na rcv ko request... tama po ba?!? pwede po ask ng timeline sa mga Manila Visa Ofc applicant.

Thank you!!!

Hello! rslcanada,

I am here also in US based in Los Angeles. What I can suggest is start requesting the FBI as it will take 8-10 weeks and sometime even longer. Based on my experienced ito na yung pinaka matagal ayusin. The 120 days will start from the date of the AOR. It's a good decision to submit your application to Manila instead of Buffalo as they showed really good progress in processing under this new rule. Good luck and all the best. Mine is also processed in Manila but I am still waiting for the final stage.

thanks Alpha romeo.... im now printing out the FBI form & are they going to expedite your request if you ask to?!? 8-10wks is still ok w/ me but not more than 10wks. So before, you also choose Buffalo kita ko kse sa timeline mo...then transferred to Manila? thru this forum I changed my visa ofc to manila since Ive done alot of survey that Mnl is much faster than buffalo.

So you should be there too in pinas when doing your medical exam since Mnl is your visa ofc. So need to get NBI too I think 2wks lang ata meron na but you should apply personally based from my experience 10yrs ago. Correct me if Im wrong.... hope to hear fr yah!

as to the NBI clearance, if you have an old one (original), you can send that together with your latest picture to the NBI, no need for personal appearance. but if you don't have,or you have a photocopy, that won't do any good. you have to appear personally. applyin in the provinces is sometimes better than in Manila, fewer applicants. for more, u cn check ww.nbi.gov.ph

really?!? thats a good news! i brought my orig nbi here w/ me. Just cross my finger not to loose it thru mail. Ill check their site later. Btw, I will mail na my application tomorrow & at d same time request for Fbi which takes 8-10wks.

Thanks!

london vsa ofce file ko, im in riyadh (workin) rite now

ok..sorry nalito na ako sa mga visa ofc... congrats tapos ka na pala sa med exam mo. hopefully when I rcv d docs request nasa pinas ako. Question....pano pala kung andto pa ako nsa US then I need to go home in pinas just to have my medical exam & NBI kse we need to accomplish them in 4mos. Sana by June nsa pinas (thats why I chose MNL) ako what if not?!?... just forward thinking if our application will be approved :D

actualy i hve done my med yet, although fam ko tpos na (jan8). waitin for my med req pko (send ni wife fr pinas). hopefully ths week will hve my med na. difference is, in mnila, they were told na jan29 (3weeks!) mllman result. whereas dito, based on my friend's xprnce, 5days lng, me result na

as for the med exam, sbi anywhere will do. as long as there is a DMP there, no worries. question is where will u be when d requests arrive and where will be d requests sent? kc in my case nga, dto me mgpa-med n my fam s pinas. kya there's additional waiting time pra dun med reqst ko

So anywhere pala pwede magpa medical exam like what you did..hmm hopefully June nsa pinas ako..once I have already the exact date I will inform NS Canada or MNL ofc of my diff address. pero kung na rcv ko na AOR tpos andto pa ako s US then dito na lang kme pa medical exam bsta accredited doctor...problem ko lang NBI kse hubby ko di nya dala orig.. Hay naku tsaka ko na lang problemahin yan basta submit ko na tom application ko & come what may.

Good for you kse wife mo nsa pinas so may nag aasikaso dun....

yup. if u need the list of designated medical practitioners, here's d link http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx

i think very important din yung email address. in my case, i received the request for the full docs fr CIO-NS thru my email

in ur hubby's case, he needs to tke his clrnce fr NBI mismo, while ikaw, pwde nga dw s mga NBI kiosks na lng, so long as u hve the original ng old clrnce
